Law meets the fairway at The Green Room II.

Community is at the core of our EASL Program, and this week we hosted our fall welcome-back event, The Green Room II, at The Scoring Club in Coral Gables, the first golf simulator club in Miami. Current EASL students, alumni and practitioner friends gathered for an evening of golf, food and conversation.

We started with an hour of open range before moving to a short panel conversation featuring Allison Freidin, JD "10, Founder and GC, Museum of Graffiti, and Greg Fritzius, JD/LL.M. '21, Counsel, F1 Miami Grand Prix.

Over the last year, Miami has hosted an MLS Championship, Art Basel, two College Football Playoff games, including the National Championship, the Winter Classic, World Baseball Classic, Miami Open, Ultra, Winter Music Conference, F1, and multiple rounds of the World Cup. We talked about what it takes for Miami to continue attracting the world's biggest events, how the city has evolved as a global entertainment destination, how each of their brands works with partners to activate and elevate the experience, the importance of continuing to highlight and accentuate what makes Miami unique, the role of art and culture across the city and these events, and what deal points are most crucial in negotiations aroundthese major events.

We ended with a closest-to-the-pin competition on Pebble Beach's famed par-3 7th hole.

The conversations, relationships formed, and familiar faces reconnecting are what this program is all about. We love seeing the success of our alumni across Big Law and in-house legal positions with organizations such as the Miami Marlins, FIFA, Legends Global and so many others and are grateful that they continue to show up for this community.

Thanks to The Scoring Club for being such a gracious host. We look forward to a great year ahead!

It came down to one swing, one pin, one Rolex. But what made the day was everything around it, the community, energy, everyone who showed up fully.

Huge thank you to @scoring.club for building a space where the game and the lifestyle meet. by @scoring.club

Experienced photographers who shoot architectural photography, will appreciate this shots. A lot of thinking went into it, I even had a dream of shooting the job, which reinforced the approach I used. The results are magnificent! 🌞📸💛 @zalezphoto #architecturalphotography #interiordesign @ncstudio_miami @scoring.club by @scoring.club
