Screenwriter/Journalist/Caffeine Addict. (Allergic to shameless self-promotion, but trying my best to immunize myself and become more superficial.)

Power Ballad is exactly the burst of music, humor, and most of all, joy, that we all need right now.
I’ve sung the praises of writer/director of John Carney (and his musical collaborator, Gary Clark) for Sing Street and Flora and Son; two charming films that deserved a much bigger audience. His work has evolved yet retains the same warmth and passion that he displayed in Once. Do yourself a favor and see it with a packed house in a theatre. You’ll not regret it.
Some things need to be experienced in a group setting and the joy is infectious (the good kind of contagion). @lionsgate by @scott.tobis

Feeling guilty with beautiful weather down by the beach while the City of Angels burns. We can see the smoke from Malibu/Pacific Palisades and are grateful to the firefighters and all the first responders for their brave work. We hope the fires are contained soon. Be safe. by @scott.tobis
