SAM SPOTLIGHT Scott Ramberg!

“I Started my ski area career at Wild Mountain when i was 14 as a chalet cleaner, then went to cook in the kitchen, instruct the local freestyle team, and be on volunteer park crew.

After high school I went to Gogebic to learn everything I could about the ski industry. I focused on snowmaking and grooming. My second year I went to the Yellowstone Club for my internship.

I worked at the Yellowstone Club for three seasons learning more how to make snow, groom trails and parks. My last season there was cut short to Covid and decided it was time to move back home.

I went back home to Wild Mountain to work maintenance which in the midwest mean you do and work on everything. I was in charge of the night time snowmaking crew and groomed the hill and helped build parks.

My time at Wild was informative and I learned a lot there but I wanted to be more involved in the industry as a whole. Trollhaugen has been a staple in the park world for a long time and I wanted to be a part of it. I joined the team at Trollhaugen just three seasons ago but I have been apart of some great events and I am meeting so many people that are just as passionate about the industry as me.” by @scott_ramberg
