Beyond stoked to share that I’m joining the @goodnewsskateshop crew and partnering with @mattofmattandkim as co-owner of the shop.

In my teens and into my twenties I worked @ruinsboardshop and it changed the trajectory of my life. The shop was very inclusive, always staffed by people who loved skating (and snow), and constantly supporting and growing the skate community in Prince George and Terrace. In San Francisco, while I was working in tech, I always offered my expertise to all the local Bay Area skate companies and volunteered on the board @sfskateclub. Moving back to Victoria, I was eager to continue giving back to the skate community that has been so good to me. Goodnews has that same vibe and commitment to the scene here in Victoria and I’m very lucky to be a part of it.

We’ve got a ton of exciting things we’re working on (more to come), and we’re here to serve you all. A good skate shop should be a vessel for the skate community to grow and thrive and we’re committed to being that.
