Last minute decided to go to LA to hang with some weirdos, forgot my Zoloft (again), but still felt a sense of normalcy with everyone in this scene.

FTC afterparty, sometime around 2am in Skid Row.

Nice end to the season shaking down the Kleemann. Held up temps great lap after lap, and didn’t even rub with 285’s 😮

Big up to @jthiewes @garrettbturbo and the whole team at @outmotorsports for making this possible - The dogs had a blast too 🥹

Note: the entire fking town of South Haven is void of non-drowsy Dramamine, so don’t forget it! ☠️

My fucking heart hurts, It’s been a really tough week without you on this earth anymore. But at least you can be as loud, free, and annoying as you want now. Love you buddy, we’ll skate and jam again soon enough. by @scottmao

The theme for this weekend is air cooled. @jj_taylor1 has the coolest fans I’ve ever seent. And apparently Sony’s hate heavy rapid fire in the heat. But really, what a treat seeing Jaspers barn find Targa after all these years of resto be part of such a beautiful day ❤️ by @scottmao

Fun fact: before the team at @tacotlantacos spearheaded the viral Quesabirria Tacos, I was fortunate enough to visit on their very first opening day via @cmcaban where I fell in love with their Carne Asada fries - a dish that Chicago is lacking on HARD compared to LA.

Pictured here is that very dish, and Jessica, the owner who once took the time to hand deliver this plate to me after closing before things grew into the empire that it is now.

It’s been so fun to watch the growth of the place and after all these years, I can still confidently say they have the BEST Carne Asada Fries in Chicago. It’s technically off menu, but don’t be afraid to try the Birria Fries either - which IS on the menu. You have to have it fresh, because thats how you experience the crucially crunchy fries 😩 by @scottmao
