Billy Crystal will celebrate his opening night tomorrow in Broadway’s 860.

The play reflects on his family and his career, memories and moments that mattered the most following the aftermath of the Palisades fires that took his home.

The production written and starring Crystal also features original music and adaptations by Tony Award winner Marc Shaiman, scenic design by Scott Pask, lighting design by Tony Award winner Jen Schriever, sound design by Dan Moses Schreier and video design by Tony Award winner Hana S. Kim and Kylee Loera.

For my latest “Sets and the Cities” column for @verandamag , I caught up with three-time Tony winner Scott Pask (@scottpaskstudio) to talk about his magical set for @schmigadoon : “ a pop-up book valentine” to the Golden Age of Broadway musicals. As a bonus, we took a look back at @bookofmormon as it celebrates 15 years on Broadway. 🔗 in bio.
