I got my Life Insurance license in 2021.

Then I sat on it for an entire year and did absolutely nothing with it.

In 2022, I went to my first life insurance conference with @sfglife.

Before the conference was over, I quit my job and planted my flag.

2023: I retired my wife.
I made sure she would never have to choose between motherhood and a paycheck.

2024: I scaled my Agency to the point where, even when I stopped selling, my family still got paid.

2025: I went all-in on personal growth and leadership development.

And the bigger the Agency got, the more my mission changed.

It stopped being about me.

The people I was serving became the mission.

2026: I run a $7M Agency.

I don’t miss family dinners.
I don’t ask anyone for time off.
My wife is my #1 business partner.

And we’re building something we’re proud of.

All of this started with a license I almost did nothing with.

Work done before the sun comes up ✅

It’s a way of life now.

ever since I had kids, I started looking at time differently. If I can get my workout in, sharpen my mind, and win the first battle of the day before my kids wake up… it’s a huge win.

I started this habit as a necessity because I started feeling like I was stealing time away from them or my wife if I went to the gym when I could have been spending my time with them.

Dads. Here’s the protocol;
Wake early, hydrate and nourish your body.
Open your Bible and connect with the Father.
Get to the gym, and lift something heavy.

One day, you grow up and realize who your parents really are. Not just as Mom and Dad, but as people.

I think about that a lot.

Because these two are watching everything. How we love each other…how we treat people...how we handle hard things…what we prioritize...what we stand for...how we live when no one’s watching…

And one day, they’ll be old enough to understand it all a little differently.

We won’t get everything right. Not even close. But we take the responsibility of being the people they learn life from so seriously.

And more than anything, I pray that when they grow up and really get to know us, they’re proud of the people we chose to be 🤎 by @scottschnitzer_
