🔊NEW PODCAST ALERT!🔊 "In Conversation With Music & Activism" is officially out on Spotify and YouTube! We’re kicking off with Episode 1 — an impactful convo with the incredible Sumi Krishnan: artist, entrepreneur, and social justice advocate from @theslantsfound. 🎤✨💜 This one’s extra special — it’s my artist cohort interview, where I share how I paired my music with a social cause that means a lot to me. 💡 In this one, I share my journey — from musician to radio DJ and creative, and now coming full circle back into songwriting. We dive into cultural identity, why I wrote ATTENTION, and how I collaborated with @acttochange, a nonprofit dedicated to ending bullying for AAPI communities. 🙌 More on that in future episodes! Would love to hear your thoughts — and please share if you think someone would connect. 💬 Link In Bio!🔗 . . . . . #MusicAndActivism #PodcastLaunch #TheSlantsFoundation #ActToChange #ArtistJourney #CulturalIdentity #RepresentationMatters #NewEpisode #AAPIVoices by @scoutmasterfifi

Cruised Alaska, but left my heart at a Juneau mushing camp…hands down my favorite day of the trip!🏔️Got some serious baby husky therapy and watched these incredible athletes run.🌟Fun fact: mushing is driven entirely by voice commands and pure trust. They’re so cute, here’s a major dose of husky appreciation!🛷🐾 🤳 taken in Juneau, Alaska by @scoutmasterfifi

2016, wow!😍 I was in Beijing, China – navigating a completely different world and system, learning so much about myself along the way. I was honestly living a dream: interviewing artists I loved (like @disclosure 🖤 still obsessed with that cute backstage moment), meeting friends from all over the world, and spending weekends wandering the foothills of the Great Wall.🦋☀️🏔️ That year mattered. I voted from abroad.🗳️ I stayed active and picked up kickboxing, went on TV to host a track & field show, emceed brand launches, and did online Grammy commentary for Chinese fans. I ate really good food, shopped for vinyl (still one of my greatest joys), made music, and spent time with friends who supported each other’s dreams. Boss babe hangouts were very nourishing.🌟🔥👯‍♀️ The traffic was so wild. I literally had seven tuk-tuk drivers’ numbers saved in my phone…each time we zigzagged our way around the city pedaling in the bike lane, moving in tune with cars and pedestrians. We always made it on time to a live show or meeting. Today they are completely banned in Beijing’s inner ring roads. RIP tuk-tuks, you got me everywhere I needed to go.🛺 Looking back, I was porous. Optimistic. Growing up in real time. I hit a lot of roadblocks, but I learned from every single one.🫶 Now, being back in the country that taught me how to be open-minded in belief systems, logic, and heart – I feel hopeful to give back to the place that shaped my perspective. I’m less loud about things, but more willing to stand up when it counts. This walk down memory lane reminds me that the present truly is a precious gift.🥹🎁⏳ Can’t wait to see what this year and the future will hold for us all! 💫🎆🎉 #2026 #2016 by @scoutmasterfifi

As a kid of immigrants, moments like this remind me what makes the U.S. unique ~ we’re a place where people of all faiths, cultures, and voices coexist and make things work, despite our differences. Seeing so many people show up and stand up for each other today meant a lot. We still believe in the same good things, and that gives me hope. 🇺🇸🫶 by @scoutmasterfifi

Diàn Yǐn is OUT! This is the Chinese version of ATTENTION — I hope you like it! Same same but very different. 🌀Turn on captions on YouTube and you’ll see what I mean. 👀 It’s always been a dream of mine to write songs in another language. ✍️🎶 Chinese has a rhythm and soul that brings out a whole new side of this story. Does a line strike you differently than the English one? Let me know which one hits you the hardest. 💭 Full video link in bio~❤️‍🔥 To my Chinese-speaking listeners: 《电瘾》MV正式上线啦！我一直希望能用中文来表达内心的情绪与故事。谢谢你愿意听！你们喜欢哪个版本呢？🎧✨🌹 . . . . . #mandopop #indiemusic #singersongwriter #华语流行音乐 #独立音乐 #创作歌手 #电瘾 taken in Shenzhen by @scoutmasterfifi
