He has been around since day one when we started ASJJF in Malaysia, and now, he will be heading to Singapore too.

Meet our Head Referee, Professor Makoto Ogasawara, a very experienced referee, he is known to be head referee for both SJJIF and IBJJF.

With decades of high-level refereeing experience, Sensei Ogasawara ensures that every bracket is run with absolute fairness, precise rule enforcement, and maximum athlete safety.

You bring your best game; we’ll make sure the officiating matches it. See you on the mats! 👊
