What photography means to me.

I’ve never actually brought this up on social media but after thinking it over for a while I decided to make this. I wanted to highlight not only photography but the importance of having things that you enjoy and are passionate about, that you can utilize when times get tough. Please reach out and let me know if this story resonates with you! by @scrambled.gregs

Big ol burner! 🔥

Normally when kids or people wander into my frame, I wait for them to move or if they seem like they are setting up camp I might nicely ask them to scoot over just a bit. In this case I feel like this little girl brought a sense of scale and humanity that I would not have had otherwise. Happy mistakes. Have a great Monday everyone!

Sooo this just happened. Wildest moment I’ve ever captured for sure. I truly hope nobody was hurt during this. Disregard my commentary lol .

Photography and time lapses get me overly stoked for clouds that most people would just drive past and not even notice. One situation that brought this to my attention was when I pointed them out to a coworker and was super hyped about it and he was like oh…yeah, okay lol

The way I see it, there’s only 2 perks of the brutal heat that we’ve had this summer. Warm ocean water and CLOUDS!

GEN Z STAND UP!😤

Teresa Interview - Part 2 @queenofraves007

In a time where the generational divide is more extreme than it’s ever been, I found it to be extremely refreshing to hear Teresa’s take on Gen Z.

As a millennial I can say that I feel a bit disconnected from Gen Z not to mention Gen Alpha, so I can only imagine how the baby boomers feel LOL but if we all think a little bit more like Teresa, we can help bridge the gap! 🙌🏻 taken in Quartyard by @scrambled.gregs

I’ve been crossing the Coronado Bridge every day for work recently and on this particularly hot day, the clouds were doing their thing! Had to stop and get a couple quick #timelapse taken in San Diego, California by @scrambled.gregs

“The heartbeat of a dragon. That sound.” - @queenofraves007

If you’ve been to any shows around San Diego in the past few years, there is a good chance you have seen Teresa gliding around the dance floor. I had first met at @quartyardsd and immediately she stood out with her unique and skilled style of dance.

After seeing her at several other events around SD, I really began to take notice and after having a conversation with her, I knew I had to give her a microphone. Little did I know, she already has a massive following on TikTok and is a certified local legend, especially with the Gen Z crowd.

This is just a quick clip from a longer interview that I’ve been working on. taken in Quartyard by @scrambled.gregs

Today officially marks 10 years of Official California Detailing.

What started as a mobile detailing business has grown into something I probably couldn’t have fully pictured back then — a full-service San Diego detailing shop specializing in paint correction, ceramic coatings, paint protection film, window tint, and everything in between.

There have been a lot of long days, mistakes, changes, risks, lessons, and plenty of obsessing over the smallest details along the way. 😂 But looking back, I wouldn’t change much of it.

Most importantly, thank you.

To every customer who has trusted us with their vehicle, everyone who has referred a friend, left us a review, shared a post, supported the shop, worked alongside us, or simply followed the journey — you helped build this.

10 years is a pretty big milestone for a small business, and we definitely didn’t get here alone.

Here’s the beginning of our story.

Part 2 — Stay Tuned. 👀

“Find out who you are and do it on purpose.” -Dolly Parton

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Dolly. There are many true national treasures from her generation still alive today and she was one of the greatest of them all.

Every time I listen to this song, it brings me a sense of warmth and gratitude that is impossible to articulate. Her contributions to music in the world in general can never be quantified or duplicated.

I was able to capture some golden hour magic with the underwater housing on my old Canon 5D Mkiii. It really shows that when it comes to still images, the DSLR still holds up! taken in La Jolla by @scrambled.gregs
