A building with a story deserves a mural with one. Thousands of brushstrokes later, here it is..

The brief was simple in theory but ambitious in execution: capture the spirit of Camden 💫

Drawing inspiration from Eduardo Paolozzi’s iconic tube mosaics, Camden’s rich musical history, old pub tiles, culture clashes, mystery, organised chaos and the wonderfully eclectic energy that makes this corner of London what it is. My job was to weave all of those influences into one.

Colour, geometry and movement through every elevation. Creating a maximalist mural that felt like it had always belonged here while giving the building an entirely new identity. The unmistakable energy of Camden itself.

Thankyou @rejhall for trusting us with such an iconic building, and an even bigger thank you to the incredible local artists who helped bring this one to life. Projects of this scale are never a one-person job, and I’m so grateful to have had such an incredibly talented team come together on this one ❣️

One we’ll never forget.

Large and no longer in charge! We thought it best to address the elephant in the room…… me. For the past 7 months, I’ve been growing another little painter and we couldn’t be more excited 🤍

With that in mind, from June, @adamdowningtattoo will be taking over the Scrawl reins. If you’ve worked with Scrawl before, chances are you’ve already met Adam who has helped drastically bring projects to life and keep up with our busy schedule over the past 2 years.

Adam will continue tattooing while working alongside me on paint jobs for now, before stepping into the solo role.

And don’t worry…… I wont be gone for long! ✨

Very thankful for @jonnywilsonstudio who captured this amazing shot for us on film.

❤️ Big Love

Thank you Nick & Millie for letting us paint your window! You’ve been legends to work for & those burgers were insane. We’ve also never been attracted to an oyster before, so thank you! 🍔🦪 by @scrawl_uk

Had the absolute pleasure of meeting the wonderful Stuart!

His new plant, coffee & gift shop in Kemptown is named after his two grandmothers, Gladys & Ethel — a detail we loved.

We incorporated lilies of the valley — their favourite flower — alongside soft pink florals as requested 🌸

Thank you for the trust, the laughs, and the caffeine over the last few days. We can’t wait to be back for your grand opening! @gladysandethels

Wishing you every bit of luck — you truly deserve it 💐 by @scrawl_uk

My oh my- when Gaz & Josephine sent me an old commission I painted along the traditional theme I was stoked!

I haven’t painted anything like this in the UK yet & I loved every moment of it. The final piece for the @peoplestavern - I’m going to miss you guys- working alongside your team for so long will be hard to let go but I’ll definitely come and visit!

Dory, Sunday, Lauren, Bleran, Mala, (mark) & of course Gaz & Josephine- thank you for feeding me, housing me, keeping me hydrated & making me laugh. You have a 10/10 team & I’ll be back to visit soon!!!
