When I sing this song I genuinely have a hard time believing I wrote it. Every lyric perfectly encapsulates how I was feeling at the time and how I still feel about a lot of things. “Timeless” feels corny to say but I truly believe these words will resonate with me(and others)in some way or another for the rest of our lives. I had the privilege to talk with some members of my discord about when they heard this song for the first time and what it did for them and just yeah man, wow. I feel lucky to have captured the magic in this one. To all the of the people who came through in a pinch and made this live session what it is thank you so so so very much because this was as close to perfect as it could have been.

COUGH SYRUP EVENT RECAP🎂 what an incredible night i cannot even begin to express how grateful i am for each and every one of you that came out(even when it was hurricane sandy-ing outside) and supported. This was the first of many and we wanna do the next event even bigger. Huge thanks to @omaryjpeg for shooting this, @_kaylashannon for helping with literally everything including providing a whole projector, @heylovejames for also doing helping with everything as well as being a DJ, and of course @amer1cang1rlfr1end for meeting me every step of the way during such a demanding week. & @over_the_moon_art_studios for hosting us. lately i’ve been sleeping more regularly than i used to and im ngl it feels great. i go through 3 month phases of staying up till 5 am and then sleeping for 4 hours and we’re currently not in that. as i type this i laugh bc i know soon enough im gonna get tired of a normal sleep schedule and drive a train through it again. but for now i enjoy feeling slightly less of the impending doom imposed by sleep deprivation by @screamblakefoster
