Swipe to see me panic next to @alissawhitegluz at the @corruptedblood.rec club show 👉
Statement:
Last friday night was somewhat of a full circle moment for me because without hearing @alissawhitegluz ˋs vocals on „The Eagle Flies Alone“ at ~14 years old, I would have kept thinking metal vocals, especially low ones like growls, aren‘t possible for female singers. I was forever changed and am since pursuing my own vocal endeavors and I am so glad I get to scream on stage with @violentvortexthrash so often. That is why everytime I see girls, women and queers looking up to me on stage with a spark in their eyes it means the world to me. Although there slowly are more women and queers in bands nowadays, it is no secret that there still is a lack of representation, in thrash metal in particular. For that reason I hope I can show more girls and queers that there is a place in the scene for them. My advice: Just pretend you’re a man and pick up the mic/instrument acting like its easy and the world is yours. (And then keep practicing and don’t give up) -Jeany (they/them) (@screamingforpeace)

It will never get old to doubt your performance entirely just to see @vdwrks pictures afterwards and not recognize oneself.
Anyways 9 more gigs with @violentvortexthrash this year, 9 more times being scared shitless before the show and overcoming it when the music starts. (I love that I get to do this so often.) I‘ll keep you updated. taken in Kultur im Bunker - Stuttgart by @screamingforpeace

Faces of the Subculture⛓️with @maja.venus of @venusbleeding_band 🧚🗣️
Their first single FIGHT BACK will be released in the end of october and we can be looking forward to a hardcore style track with very sick vocals by @maja.venus along with a catchy hook transporting the important outcall for a joint resistance against violence towards women, queer people and the trans community - you’re not alone, we fight back!
Go see them live on 28th of october @juha_west where they will be opening for THE @babehavenband ‼️ taken in Stuttgart, Germany by @screamingforpeace

Part 2 Casual Vocal Warmup before practice 🗣️🗣️
(Not a Tutorial (yet))

As you might be able to tell you can’t really be scared of being cringe with learning metal vocals, it kinda comes with the territory. Just remember to be mindful of your vocal chords and have fun with your voice. by @screamingforpeace

Interview with Jacopo of @hedvigband from Strasbourg ✊🧡🗣️

In their own words Hedvig is an eclectic and uncompromising Progressive Thrash Metal band from
Strasbourg (France). The bands songs are inspired by Thrash, Punk and modern Groove Metal all the way to Prog Rock with powerful and thought-provoking lyrics. Hedvig doesn’t shy away from speaking out for their beliefs, delivering dynamic concerts and keeping the passion for music alive.

As someone who has already been on tour with them (THRASH AGAINST THE FASH TOUR 2026) I can say I‘m still looking forward to seeing them perform live each time. Their energetic performance and variety of musical influences just never gets tired and feels truly authentic. With their level of skill and experience I can very much see them play on bigger stages and I‘m looking forward to seeing what they do next, especially with their new lineup, including one more guitar. Apart from writing awesome music and using their voice to amplify important causes they are also just the kindest, full of life people and I really appreciate the friendship that has developed between @hedvigband and @violentvortexthrash 💜🧡
Check out their insta and Bandcamp!! 👉@hedvigband

I interviewed the young band @hexed.official last weekend. Here‘s what they have to say🗣️
Check out their music, next single release 25.09. „Never Enough“‼️

„Hexed“ was founded in 2023 and started writing their own songs in late 2024, although all four members together only are an average age of 21 years old their live show already convinces the crowd with skill, a clear vision for their presence, dedication and energy (definitely go see them live). Their Debut EP „Absence“ showcases their sound combining harsh vocals and fast riffs with angelic singing and catchy melodies. More to come!

First attempt of documenting parts of the (local) metal scene, this time @juze.denzlingen, a two day Metal Festival organized by @sydra_official,and the JuZe Denzlingen Crew, very cool stuff, this is what gives young people the chance to get into metal and onto the stage 🤝
These types of events are only possible because of volunteers, so make sure to support your local scene by showing up🗣️
I have all the bands that played mentioned for you below 👇
