i mean HELL YEAH drop me off at the front door of studio 54 in 1977, but my love for the 60’s and 70’s isn’t ONLY about the aesthetic and the vibes, it’s about the FEELINGGGG your brand shouldn’t just look beautiful on a screen, it should be felt too. real emotion, real creativity, real strategy, made by real humans, for real humans (and powered by disco music!) your golden era is right now. lets build your brand! 🪩 by @scribbledsage
she who must not be named can F alllllll the way off and shrivel up into a ball of snot, but it’s called the wizarding WORLD for a reason. it’s not about one little symbol, but instead about how one little symbol can open the door to an entire brand universe with sounds, smells, emotions, and fluttery feelings that can spawn an entire fandom. like so: i love you 3000 some pulp get the wingleader mongo is appalled yes, chef if you know em, you KNOWWW em 😏 that spark of recognition, that joy, that excitement that feeling of entering a whole nother world — is exactly what i want for your brands fan club!! wanna work together to build a brand that gets you allllll the superfans?! get on the guest list to know when we’re dropping dates for THE BRAND JAM - our 2 week 1:1 jam sesh where you leave with an insanely aligned brand, full visual identity, and custom assets to launch your world tour! by @scribbledsage
Guys this project was pure magic to work on. ✨✨ Dr. Gigi is an absolute rockstar, and is building something so powerful for the high-achieving Black women. The catch with this project is that although every website has two audiences, the algorithm and the human reading it, each tends to lean one way or another. But Ubuntu Healing & Wellness Journey needed to win both. Because most of the women who ACTUALLY need this, aren’t searching for what Dr. Gigi provides. Gigi hosts healing retreats for high-achieving Black women who have carried everyone and rarely get a place to put it all down. Theyre used to feeling depleted and the thought of giving themselves a healing retreat isn’t even in their minds. But they are searching for why they’re running on empty. I knew @ubuntuwellnessjourney needed something deeper than just a clean website. So I pulled in Alex at @scribbledsage to bring the soul of the brand. Ubuntu means “I am because we are,” so Alex hand-drew beautiful icons that are each whole on their own and stronger together in a pattern, just like the women on Gigi’s retreats. 🌿 If your dream client doesn’t know she needs you yet, your site has to meet her where she’s searching. Send me a DM and we can chat about your strategy 😌 by @scribbledsage

it’s tough out here for a gangsta (a creative entrepreneur LOL) but i honestly, truly, deep in my belly believe that our go go juice will always be a little dash of weirdness and a heaping helping of joy. tomorrow, i’m yapping with @byaudreyfritter as part of her summer speaker series, talking all about prioritizing joy and whimsy as a creative in an increasingly robot-y AI world, how i got a wild hair up my ass and randomly launched a course as a result, how we can all stay creatively inspired even when things feel doom + gloom, and how i lost 25 lbs in an hour thanks to an emergency surgery that changed the game. this session is interactive, so think more ‘round table coffee chat’ than lecture! drop a comment if you wanna join the convo and i’ll link ya. my session is tomorrow, 8/26 at 1pm EST — see ya there!!! by @scribbledsage
