Commissions are here!! 🥳 Swipe through to see my little menu of offerings 👀. I have been having so much fun critterfying everyone and everything! Call me SavGPT the way I’m generating little avatars for everyone 😉💕

‼️Speaking of which: I have an absolute ZERO tolerance policy for AI artwork, and if you send me any AI images to reference, or put any of my work through an LLM or generative AI platform you will be blocked and ineligible for refund. I also will not write out any slurs, threats, or sexual content for the custom hand-lettered text tier (and in general) ‼️

For more in-depth info and instructions, I have everything listed out on my Ko-Fi. Thank you so much to everyone who proofread and beta-tested this process. I appreciate the feedback and patience so much 💕💕💕

I can’t wait to make some more little Creaturesonas for all of you, don’t forget to use code GUINEAPIG for 20% off before August 31st.

More info on reduced rates and discounts/trades are also in the works! I think everyone should have access to cute and fun art, and I want to give back to my community as much as possible (while doing so sustainably) 🎁 by @scribbleswithsav

🥁🥁 Drumroll, please! 🥁🥁

✨Historically-Accurate Critters✨ are almost* all finished up, so here they are in all their glory 🥹🐹. This project has been so fun and such a learning process the past few months. Despite the headaches, combining my love of Sylvanian babies & AG has been a fun little escape.

I still can’t decide if these are the girl’s “slyvaniansonas” or just regular Calico-adjacent critters doing cosplay… what do y’all think? 🤔

*Anyway, I’m still working on the 5 “best friends” of the collection, and I’ll post them and upload them when they’re done! Depending on my energy levels I think I might want to make little GOTY creatures as well. So many cute possibilities !! 🫧🗓️🐱💕

I hope you are all having an excellent 🐪 day! Thank you for following along and supporting my creative pursuits 🫶🏻💖

More American Girl themed art but this time as a protest sign. It’s far from perfect and far from my best work but channeling my rage at the current administration (and the realization that the America I learned about as a kid has never existed) and turning it into cute silly art was very cathartic. Thank you to @mesavalleyindivisible for organizing, please check them out!! Ya girl has finally been able to leave the house a bit more and I will be continuing to use my energy to show up in the ways that I can 🥰🪧🌟 by @scribbleswithsav

‼️LORE DROP INCOMING ‼️

I mostly focus on the “scribbles” part of my username but I am also a human person (Sav/Savannah 👋) behind the screen. I thought trying something different, and getting a little ✨personal✨ would be fun! Kinda chic to be fashionably late to an internet trend haha 💖💕 by @scribbleswithsav

Really enjoyed interpreting this adorable piece by @elliebakerdesign as my first ever DTIYS! 🍓✨

I wanted to make a sort of book cover inspired piece that used up the whole page (as is my MO haha), and wanted to use a heart-shaped doily as the focal point, so my shelf is really more of a cubby with miniatures displayed inside. But that’s the fun of it, isnt it? 🪴🫧🌼🐸♥️

Happy mail enthusiasts, check out her account! She is making some seriously cute stuff 💌✨

Thanks for hosting this Ellie, and congrats on 5k! 🥳

Pink-themed dump from the last few months/whatever the opposite of subtle foreshadowing is 🤭

Stay sparkly, stay vaccinated, and stay leaning into your discomfort!!

Kavi is an Indian girl with medium tan skin and long dark hair, wearing a pink bucket hat and a blue and green outfit. The background features little star, heart, and bubble doodles in various shades of pink and green to match her outfit. by @scribbleswithsav

In tandem with my last Historically Accurate Critter post, here are the iconic duos of the AG/creaturesona universe with some silly little captions (and a plug at the end for good measure heyyyy). Feel free to share your favorite or most relatable slide with your bestie!! Personally, I really resonate with the ✨shared trauma✨ and gay allegations slides lol. Are you really besties if you haven’t gotten mistaken for a couple at least once!? (And let’s be real, Kit & Ruthie are sooo MFEO and they are canon to me and to many others. Happy pride month to them! 🩷🤍🧡)

Also, the “built-in besties” for the twins’ caption made me LOL just because it so sooo quintessentially millennial and almost every twin I know thinks it’s such a goofy catchphrase. If you’re a twin (or triplet, etc.) what are your thoughts on that saying?

Anyway, this summer has been absolutely kicking my booty and I have been in horizontal jail a lot. I’ve been a bit MIA (and can make no promises to be more active tbh) but thank you all for sticking around, and I hope everyone is surviving the heat and humidity and the existential dread 😍☀️ We are SO brave I think. 💖🌈

Historically Accurate Critters: BFF REVEAL ‼️

Y’all, I am so obsessed with these little creature girlies, and still absolutely stunned at the positive reception of my little doodles! Thank you so much to everyone who has shared, commented, and purchased stickers and merch. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

By time this update is posted, all of these should be available on my RedBubble store, and both versions of the full collection print are on my TeePublic if that intrigues you!🕺✨

Let me know what best friend/companion doll is your favorite, or what character you wish got an official AG doll! I am a Kit girlie through and through and Ruthie is highhh up on my wishlist, especially since I’ve dabbled back into collecting again as an adult. I’ve also always had a soft spot for Ivy and wish she got a much bigger collection than she did.

My favorite part of the AG lore in general is the historical fashion. Recreating these outfits and patterns on a small scale, and within my doodley style was such a fun, meditative challenge 😊🌸

🫧✨🫧HELLO NICHE COMMUNITY 🫧✨🫧

In addition to being an active fan/collector of American Girl dolls and pets, Sylvanian babies, and lover of making fun and colorful doodles, I am a HUGE fan of the band Sammy Rae & The Friends.

Being involved in the online Friends community has not only reinvigorated my love of fandom and encouraged me to start being more open and unashamed of my interests and beliefs, but it’s also given me so many beautiful experiences and connections with some of the coolest people. So, to those friends, thank you for following along and supporting me and generally being such lights in the world 🌟☀️✨. The last few years, getting out to a concert was The Event that kept me going despite a lot of weird health stuff and the general state of the world being so scary. Live music is so healing and I just cannot say enough nice things about the band and the fan base they have curated 🥹🫶🏻.

Anyway, this little series was inspired by my friend @thejkpatel who responded with a SR&TF lyric reference when I had shared that I rescued my old dolls from storage a few weeks ago (included as a bonus slide). Again, very niche to my own experiences but I thought combining the special interests of my youth to the one in my adulthood would be a fun little crossover and a chance to try out some new techniques.

Let me know, do we share any beloved childhood memories? And what’s your favorite Friends song if you have one?

If this is how you’re finding me, hi!! I wanna be friends with ya! 💖🤟🎶

This American Girl LOVES a sweet treat and hates state-sanctioned vi0lence 🥰🍦

Despite other news taking up headlines, this is your unfortunate reminder that 🧊 is continuing to detain and terrorize citizens and non-citizens alike, and holding them in absolutely inhumane conditions. 🧊 continues receiving exorbitant amounts of funding and new project proposals, as Project 2025 chugs along 🫩. If you’re like me, you are exhausted by the constant tomfoolery (derogatory) this administration is up to, and an example of some recent tomfoolery can be found (via the 5 Calls app) on the middle slide. Between building that damn wall and the data centers we can’t have anything nice apparently!!! And this is only the tip of the iceberg (no pun intended). Please, stay vigilant in calling and emailing your representatives! Midterms are looming (or actively happening for some of us) and it’s an easy, low-effort way to make your voice heard. If you haven’t used the 5 Calls app yet, it’s SO easy and all the information you need is easily accessible. Change starts in our communities ✨
…

I have been wanting to do some sort of fundraiser for the cause, but would need to gauge interest before I started something. How are we all feeling about perhaps a sticker fundraiser with the proceeds being donated to an organization like ACLU or to mutual aid for immigrant families?
Perhaps this design for the sweet treat loving girlies, or perhaps something different? Feel free to comment or DM me with any input. I so appreciate the outpouring of support from the artsy, toy collector, and AGIG communities these past few days 🫶🏻💕
