#scribi #tulip

The series “TULIPS” is realised by starting from a very simple concept: a spiral.
The spiral is then stretched, morphed and twisted to resemble a flower.

Picture turned into hundreds of lines with #scribi

And yes, 7 years in and the whole bundle of electronics is still glued to the wall! 😅

I made this drawing based on @sarahlolamusic incredible “how cruel” song basically the same day as she uploaded the 30 seconds clip, several months ago. I had envisioned the black spiral with a violent and dramatic splash of red colour dripping off the canvas; It took me forever to make up my mind and eventually I went for it.

It was a little bit of an experiment and not 100% sure I like it…

Drawing of a ship in a squall. ⛵️
Pen died a little bit before the end leaving some “empty” squares. I kind of have the urge to filling them with something… maybe something colourful to contrast THE FU…. RAIN THAT HASN’T STOPPED IN BLOODY 40 DAYS! AAAAAAHHHHH

First drawing made with the newly rebuilt #Scribi. I had to downsize quite considerably and everything is still hooked temporarily but it works!

#scribi powered by its first 2019 scribble algorithm.
Looking at that code almost 7 years later I can’t believe I managed to pull it off. It would probably make the eyes of a professional programmer bleed, but it kind of does what it’s supposed to soooooo… 🥳
