So awesome to have @gowaan_mtb back in the valley last weekend coaching 50+ local kids on their bikes. Huge thank you to @emmz_edt for the energy & organisation behind it, plus the many organisations that contributed financially to make it possible at zero cost the kids, including Coquet Valley Trails (the team behind @coquetclassic_ )

Over the weekend there were indoor sessions for wee ones on balance bikes, sessions at Rothbury Bike Park and also more advanced MTB skills up on Simonside Hills for the older kids.

So great to see so many kids on wheels around the village & the smiles on their faces. The @gowaan_mtb team are an inspiration.

More of this to come in the valley we hope 😃

Wednesday night social rides are back!

We're aiming to ride every week until the clocks change in October.

First this Wednesday (2nd sept) we'll be keeping it Rothbury.

Meet at SCRUB Cycles to leave at 6pm.

We'll ride for about 1.5hrs - Tracks will be on the technical side of things.

*Just a quick note - these rides are not guided. All riders should come prepared for the conditions and must be self sufficient if required. You are responsible for your own safety at all times.

Now the dust has settled - here's a few bits from a mega day of bike racing.

Big thanks to all the riders who raced. The friends and family who turned up to support/ heckle! Everyone who gave up their time to make something like this happen and to run so seamlessly.

We proved again what a positive impact bikes can have!

Mega weekend in Northumberland photographing the annual @coquetclassic_ enduro!

Everything about this race is special; the rider vibe, the slick organisation, the crew, terrain, steep, technical trails and the welcoming Rothbury community… and then there’s those views!!!

On Saturday we celebrated incredible female riders. @coquetclassic_ gave some of our local ladies a stage to show what they are made of. Determined, humble & strong.
So proud to see 2 on the podium, with a 1st in cat title defended. Plus huge congratulations to @meg_whyte for topping the leaderboard, what an inspiration.

Our ladies meet the 2nd Saturday of the month, ride the locals trails & have a laugh. Next ride Sat 12th Sept, come & join us 😃

Let’s get more ladies on enduro start lines 💪🏼

What a day! @coquetclassic_ has been an absolute blast & doing it with these 4 boys has been incredible. Hours of hard graft seems to have paid off. Amazing seeing such talented riders having an awesome ride on trails we’ve built in a village we love. Huge thank you to the many many others involved behind the scenes.
