Welcome to ScruffyDog! Here is a little about me ! Self taught silversmith, jewellery maker, established 2011 Always been a maker of things… basically… I can’t sit still ! Married to Mr D ! Been together over 30years ! I now offer workshops in my creative space… This is my happy place… This is Fudge, she is our 4th Beardie, hence the name, ScruffyDog… Multi award winning !!! Nominated and voted for by my amazing customers ! My workspace… I converted my garage in 2025… should have done it years ago ! I simply love to make ! Let me tell your story… I’m a member of the Northants Triathlon Club… inexplicably!!! It’s the best fun… triathlons, cross country, swim runs… cake and smiles… I love to swim open water ! Colder the better ! I have a collection of my work all summer long at Zeath Gallery in Polzeath… this is a dream come true… My VW camper ‘Cookie’ is my daily driver, my holiday home and also a mobile ScruffyDogShop! I love to play in the sea… I can stand up on a surfboard, but I’m very much stuck in the shallows ! I love to trade at markets and fairs… I love to do a spot of strength training… I love going to music festivals, camping out and drinking beer ! I’m a rocker… now with a good appreciation for country music ! I like collecting medals ! I’m incredibly lucky to do what I do… by @scruffydogsilver
𝗖 𝗢 𝗠 𝗠 𝗜 𝗦 𝗦 𝗜 𝗢 𝗡 ★ 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 ★ Another beautiful commission request I can now happily share… A wraparound ring with a pawprint and a loveheart on the outside… then inside reads Roxie and Lola… with a tiny little bearded collie stamp separating the names… Again… I get asked to make the most amazing things… and just look at those faces ! I know I am bias ! But crumbs 💕 #keepsakejewellery #beardedcollie #scruffydogsilver #wraparoundring #silverjewellery 𝚠𝚠𝚠.𝚜𝚌𝚛𝚞𝚏𝚏𝚢𝚍𝚘𝚐𝚜𝚒𝚕𝚟𝚎𝚛.𝚌𝚘.𝚞𝚔 Made by Steph • Est. 2011 • Silver Jewellery Maker 𝙽𝚘𝚛𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚗𝚝𝚜 𝙻𝚒𝚏𝚎 𝙱𝚎𝚜𝚝 𝚂𝚖𝚊𝚕𝚕 𝙱𝚞𝚜𝚒𝚗𝚎𝚜𝚜 𝙰𝚠𝚊𝚛𝚍 𝚆𝙸𝙽𝙽𝙴𝚁 𝟸0𝟸𝟼 ★ by @scruffydogsilver
Thrilled that this little chap got snapped up yesterday ! One of my fave designs! Already got a fresh one a bubbling on the bench ! It’s been an extraordinarily busy day… a bunch of commission work is now taking a tumble in the spinner to polish up… now it’s time to sketch out some more recent requests! Thanks so much for keeping me so busy !!! Best way ! Keeps me out of mischief!!! #happysale #bangleoftheday #scruffydogsilver by @scruffydogsilver
A day late… but yesterday was a little crazy! Just how I expect the rest of November to be ! So let’s briefly pause and look back at an amazing October ! I escaped to the coast ! But ScruffyDog came with me… lock, stock and barrel! I did the incredible @supersecondsfestival which proved to be an absolute sellout… I spent an entire day wrapping and then caused absolute chaos in a tiny Cornish post office ! My summer season at Zeath Gallery ended… and it’s been a corker ! I celebrated another birthday… Secured a heap of events in the run up to Christmas, finally got the hang of my digital bookkeeping and updated my website… moved a tiny selection of my work into @clairehall_floraldesign 🌼 Saw the most incredible @stephen.wilson.jr down in Bristol, launched my #autumnwintercollection and got to make some incredible custom requests… That was a quiet month ! I know November is going to be nuts ! I am ready !!!! Are YOU ready 😂 #goodbyeoctober #smallbusinesslife #scruffydogsilver by @scruffydogsilver
Gonna thank Mr @ilumeicandles for this amazing snap ! Today was a BUSY one ! An incredible start to my WinterTour26 !!! So so SO many familiar faces and also lots of new folks that have spied me online and came to meet me in person… It’s been everything that I wish ScruffyDog to be… personal, fun and super special… The orderbook has filled up with some beautiful custom requests, lots of interest too in my workshops… Wow… what to say ! So so chuffed ! That’s event No.1 done… I will say the cold caught me by surprise ! So I think a good rum is required and a perch by the woodburner whilst I reply to all enquires and get sketching !!! Next one is in a fortnight at @duston_market Tracey - she of the T from @tscoffeepitsford 🐾 Thanks so much for having us and for organising such a brilliant event… again !!! See you guys again soon ! #scruffydogsilver #christmasmarket #happysunday by @scruffydogsilver
Quick snap ! It’s so busy already !!!! by @scruffydogsilver
Up & ON ! It’s fair day !!! Happy November !! Pinch punch first day of the month !!! It’s the @tscoffeepitsford FESTIVE EDITION of their quite brilliant Love Local Market today ! 10 til2 ! Hope to see you there ! I need to shake a paw !!! Gadzooks I’m rusty at this fair lark !!! Rubs bleary eyes !!! by @scruffydogsilver
Mr Robin… limited edition ✨ This fella is very difficult to stamp… he is a fairly hefty stamp and I have to rock him and wallop all points of the compass to get a clean strong impression on the metal used… calls for a brew and a biscuit or two everytime !!! Worth it though ! He is a beauty ! Only fits on a 20mm charm minimum… and this year I’ve decided to gently dome each for a different look ! Polished after to a super high shine… Made to order although I always keep one ready to go ! #scruffydogsilver #robinjewellery #meaningfuljewellery #madeforyou❤️ by @scruffydogsilver
Mixing in bronze, copper, gemstones, sea tumbled pottery and of course silver ! My Autumn | Winter collection is now available! #scruffydogsilver #handmadejewellery by @scruffydogsilver
Winning !!! Van all loaded for the morning !!! All my silver and copper has been polished up, price tags scribbled out and partly laid into display boxes… I’ve had a tip top sort out and made sure everything I have is listed to the website ! This is a very rare thing indeed ! Now to charge the gadgets and lights… and myself!!! I have a brew and a gingerbread dinosaur!!! So I’m at @tscoffeepitsford from 10am until 2pm tomorrow for the fabulous Festive Edition of their Love Local Market… stick your paw 🐾 in the air if you are coming !!! #lovelocal #scruffydogsilver by @scruffydogsilver
🚨 Scruffy Dog Workshops Announcement 📢 You guys know I always like to be upfront and honest 🐾 I am keeping my workshop vouchers available on my website - as they make the perfect gift idea... and with Christmas coming and everything... BUT I have mentioned it briefly before… I am to be out of action early in the New Year as I have to have some surgery... nothing spooky... but I will be off my paws for a spell... so realistically I won’t be able to run a workshop with all my regular energy and bounce until March all being well... There are no best before dates on my vouchers anyway... I try and keep things as simple and friendly as I can ! Any vouchers bought from now… and they seem to be going great guns this week… I will message the purchaser straight back reiterating this… and should it cause a pickle with timing… I will of course action a full refund… Sound fair ? This means also… anyone wanting a custom made piece with a Jan/Feb deadline… I will need to make it before Christmas! But am happy to defer payment until when you need it… Hope this sounds workable and fair ! Any questions give us a shout ! Hope that makes sense !!! Steph x by @scruffydogsilver
Our special place ! Copper cuffs stamped with those map coordinates that mean so much !
