An Indian Caloria, small but so intriguing! A small, colorful sea slug from the aeolid #nudibranch family. Growing up to 1.25 inches (32 mm) long, it features a translucent body, glowing blue-tipped finger-like appendages called cerata, and white rhinophores with orange tips. A skeleton shrimp in Flores, in 2011. I had a Fuji, no strobe (other than the camera's) and no patience. Sexy shrimp! Or squat shrimp. Such a cutie, it moves 'shaking that a$$' ... Always a good subject to photograph.Thor amboinensis is a small shrimp growing to a length of about 13 millimetres (0.5 in). It is an olive brown colour with symmetrically placed white patches edged with thin blue lines. It characteristically carries its abdomen curved upwards with its tail fan above its head.Though it is named for Ambon or Amboyna Island, one of the Maluku Islands in Indonesia, Thor amboinensis has a pantropical distribution being found in the Red Sea, the Indian Ocean, the Pacific Ocean, the Caribbean Sea, the Gulf of Mexico, Madeira and the Canary Islands.#SquatShrimp #SexyShrimp #UnderwaterMacro #UnderwaterPhotography by @scubadreamer

Just when you think nature can't surprise you any more, you encounter a Yellow tipped Phyllodesmium in all its odd glory. A Red Spotted Guard crab inside a hard coral.While I love spotting them, I realise this is one of the instances where a diver comes in contact with the reef. Not me, not my fingers, not my fins, but my camera case. I took @green_fins course which was an eye opener. Even a light contact with a coral can cause damage and stress.I will be so much more mindful and aware next time - a photo is NOT worth the coral's health..#MacroPhotography #DivingPhilippines #UnderwaterMacro by @scubadreamer
