26 years, Shan. That’s a lot of days, a lot of memories, two incredible sons (X and D), and somehow you’ve still got patience left. You’ve built this life with me, held it all together, and made it feel like home. Happy anniversary, babe. I still feel lucky, still grateful, still your biggest challenge, but we still laugh every day. I remember us listening to this song on repeat when we first started dating over 30 years ago. Yesterday was your birthday. I walked in on X and Donovan playing video games, laughing like crazy… and it instantly took me back to when we were kids. Every time we moved somewhere new and didn’t know anyone, we always had each other. I miss that. I miss you. Happy birthday, bro. by @sdeddie

22 years.

It still hits like it just happened...
On this day in 2003, I received the worst call you never want to get...my brother Adam, Jeremy, and Matt lost their lives in a van crash that shattered so many hearts... including mine. They were young, hungry, insanely talented, and on the verge of something huge with the Exploding Hearts.

The music they made still lives. So does their spirit. And for those of us left behind, so does the heartache.

To Jeremy and Matt’s families... I hope you know how often your sons are remembered and spoken about with love. I imagine them still laughing and creating with Adam somewhere beyond this world.

To Terry and Ratch... you are miracles. The way you’ve carried the weight of that day with grace and resilience is something I’ll never stop admiring.

And to the fans...
Thank you for keeping their songs alive. Every time you play Guitar Romantic or wear one of their shirts or tell someone new about their story... you're honoring them. You’re proving that great music... and great people... never really die.

My heart still swells with emotion everytime I hear their music.

Rest easy, boys.

Xavier, we’re so proud of your journey from kindergarten to here, your high school graduation. You had ups, you had downs, but one thing that never wavered was your commitment to being the best you could be. Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it. Watching Xavier get honored as Student of the Month on April 10 and hearing him speak from the heart was one of those moments we’ll never forget.

Words can’t express how proud we are of Xavier.
