Took the leap at 18 stepping on stage just days before 19 began. 🎂💃❤️ Grateful for where this journey has taken me so far, and even more excited for what’s ahead… 4 weeks out and counting. ✨🪐💃 @jmagdalena_wellness 🥹❤️ Wouldn’t want to spend my BDAY any other way 🎂❤️ (Yes, I saved the stage shots for today hehe ☺️❤️🎂) One thing this sport has taught me: hold your own—always. Stay true to yourself, your goals, your beliefs… and most importantly, have fun (prepping for stage or not.)💃❤️ Don’t get caught up in the noise—the judgement—(this is a judged sport but you have to know deep down you are confident in what you have to bring regardless),—the confusion, the stereotypes—especially in a male-dominated space like this. Be present. Trust your path. Remember YOUR personal why.❤️ This isn’t my whole life — just a fraction of it — but it’s one I’m beyond proud to officially be a part of. Bodybuilding adds structure to my busy ass lifestyle, and it’s something I’ll never change for the world.💪❤️ Bodybuilding isn’t everything I do, but it’s one passion I’m proud to own especially as a female. 💃❤️ #19 #teenbodybuilding PSA 👇 ❤️ Huge love to my fam for having my back through prep — even during our two-week Europe trip (during peak week 🙏🏻). I was a bit grumpy loll. But you knew how much this meant to me, and your support didn’t go unnoticed. Even through the lack of knowledge (and occasional judgment 😅 lol), I felt the love. Post FIRST SHOW dump💃❤️💜 Won 🥇 in my class ❤️ Second🥈 overall❤️💜 Two tiaras look cute here 💜❤️ I wouldn’t want to share the stage with anyone else @jordanaalexiss so so proud of you so well deserved💜 This weekend was one of the best experiences I have had yet. Challenging myself from so many different phases in my teenage years has led me to this beautiful sport and I wouldn’t change it for the world. To officially call myself a bodybuilder is something my younger self would be so so proud of. I was always doubting stepping on stage or not at 16 so I gave myself a few years to sleep on it and push myself. Yes I started young but I had the background knowledge of what it takes to get where I am now. However I knew I needed someone to be in my corner along the way to be there as a second eye view, mother figure and my coach all in one I’m so BEYOND grateful for you and I love you so much @jmagdalena_wellness ❤️ ALSO doing this with my bestie working backstage with me and being there for me this whole ride is something I wouldn’t change for the WORLD I love you @annarice.fitness ❤️ This sport is something I will never step away from. There are so many supportive, determined, disciplined and dedicated people within this and bettering yourself daily is something that goes beyond your physique.
