Walk for Wellbeing brings the hospitality industry together through one simple, powerful act: walking side by side in support of one another. This nationwide movement unites colleagues, friends, individuals and teams in moments of connection and reflection as they walk in the outdoors, promote the importance of mental health and wellbeing, and raise vital funds for Hospitality Action.

Since 2020, this inclusive event, powered by hospitality talent and recruitment partner Mum, has inspired thousands across the industry to get involved. Walk for Wellbeing has become a force for positive change.

This October, you have the choice to join one of 14 hosted 10km or 20km walks taking place in locations across the UK. You can join as an individual or as a team; all are welcome!

If you prefer, you can create your own route and Walk It Your Way any time between Saturday 10 October and Sunday 25 October, choosing a distance and location that works for you. by @sdmathieson

Great dinner @cornwallcollege organised by @cornwall_college_pro_cookery and @stmaweshotel lead by @grove.chef and staff from the hotel.

This was the last dinner served in Cloisters Restaurant before the move to the new onsite restaurant and hospitality department on the same site.

Thank you to all the staff involved, especially the students some of whom had only just started their studies a few short weeks before this event.

Many thanks for organising a collection on behalf of @hospitalityaction !

And yes…..for those with sharp eyes, I had eaten one of the delicious croquettes before I remembered to photograph the dish 🫣 by @sdmathieson

Walk for Wellbeing is more than just a walk, it’s an opportunity to strengthen team bonds, boost morale, and bring the hospitality industry together to promote mental health and wellbeing. It also raises awareness and vital funds for our work, supporting hospitality professionals and their families facing challenging times.

Let’s walk the walk and make a positive difference together.

Walk for Wellbeing is about uniting the hospitality industry, bringing colleagues, communities and companies together across the UK through one simple yet powerful act: walking side by side in support of one another.

Together, they’ve already raised £500,000 for Hospitality Action, helping to change lives when it matters most.

Our hosted walks offer a shared, industry-wide experience and a chance to meet new people from your region, reconnect with peers and walk together for a common cause. They’re a collective moment for our industry to pause, reconnect and invest in a healthier, more supportive future for hospitality
