This Eternal Decay – 𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗚𝗗𝗔𝗟𝗔 - 15.01.2027 OUT

𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗚𝗗𝗔𝗟𝗔 is the sixth album by This Eternal Decay, and perhaps the band’s most emotional and introspective work to date. The title perfectly reflects the soul of the record: the amygdala, the part of the brain associated with emotions and memory, becomes a symbol of faded memories, lingering pain, and lost loves that unexpectedly return to the surface.

Across 15 tracks on the CD/Digital edition and 11 tracks on Vinyl, AMIGDALA explores a world suspended between nostalgia and darkness, where the coldness of darkwave coexists with deeply melancholic and cinematic melodies. The album moves through haunting atmospheres, hypnotic synths, and moments of intense emotional weight, creating a journey through fragmented memories and feelings that never truly disappeared. The album’s artwork was created by visual artist RVS, who has previously collaborated with This Eternal Decay on several of the band’s videos. The cover is a digital reworking of a photograph featuring Misty, model and muse, whose image becomes part of the album’s visual language: a distorted and dreamlike representation of memory, desire, and the emotional traces left behind by the past.

With AMIGDALA, This Eternal Decay continue to explore the darker and more human side of their sound, blending darkwave, post-punk and electronic textures with a deeply personal and cinematic approach.

AMIGDALA will be released on January 15th, 2027 via Swiss Dark Nights, distributed Audioglobe.

Today, the autumnal equinox of 2026, marks the release of our debut album ‘Albedo’.

The realisation of this music and its release took us many years and much effort. So, we are very happy, grateful and relieved to finally give this into the world today.

We thank each and every one of you, who already ordered our record, those who will, and also those, of course, who listen to it on other formats. We want to express our deep gratitude to all the beautiful individuals and experiences that directly helped or inspired us to shape this work to a bigger or lesser degree. A big thank you!

Please, feel free to listen to ‘Albedo’ in its entirety on our bandcamp, YouTube or the platform of your choice. Let us know where this record takes you.

It is done!

Faded Flowers is out now! This album is everything we’ve lived through over the past two years, turned into music. We started this journey without really knowing where it would take us, and somehow, before we knew it, we had arrived at our fourth album.

Some songs were written after a night spent with you, while others came simply from life…

We are the ones trying to grow in a field of faded flowers, you and us, together.

Listen - feel - absorb

Faded Flowers is out everywhere, and it’s for everyone. Available on Digital + Vinyl + CD

Dont forget to join to the Bandcamp listening party today at 20:00 CEST and
❗️Tomorrow, on 19th, two music videos will be out on YouTube: Figures & Velvet Dawn.+
