RoughRiders Family Announcement The San Diego RoughRiders Baseball family is proud to announce that our Executive Director, Coach Anthony Williams, has officially accepted the position of Head Baseball Coach at Otay Ranch High School. This opportunity is a well-deserved reflection of Coach Williams’ dedication, leadership, baseball knowledge, and commitment to developing young men both on and off the field. Throughout his career, Coach Williams has consistently built programs centered around discipline, accountability, character, hard work, and player development. Those same values have served as the foundation of the RoughRiders program and will now help guide the next chapter of Otay Ranch Baseball. Although Coach Williams is accepting this new role, he remains fully committed to the continued growth and leadership of the San Diego RoughRiders Baseball Academy. This opportunity will strengthen our program by creating additional pathways, relationships, and development opportunities for players throughout the South Bay community. We are incredibly proud of Coach Williams and excited to support him as he begins this new journey. We have no doubt that he will bring energy, passion, structure, and a championship standard to The Ranch. Please join the entire RoughRiders family in congratulating Coach Anthony Williams, the new Head Baseball Coach at Otay Ranch High School. Congratulations, Coach Williams! On behalf of the entire San Diego RoughRiders family, we are proud to officially welcome Coach Danny Silvas to our coaching staff. Coach Silvas brings an incredible wealth of experience and knowledge to our program. Throughout his coaching career, he has developed players at every level of the game from youth baseball to the collegiate ranks. He currently serves as a coach on the Southwestern College Baseball staff and has built a reputation as one of the premier instructors in the South Bay baseball community. We couldn’t be more excited to have Coach Silvas join the RoughRiders. As we continue building one of the top developmental programs in Southern California, adding coaches of Danny’s caliber reinforces our commitment to providing our players with elite instruction, mentorship, and opportunities to reach their full potential. This is another major step toward creating a premier coaching staff dedicated to developing not only better baseball players, but better young men.
