Take advantage of a special opportunity this summer to enroll in ITAL 120: Italian Food Culture, offered July 7th, 2026 through August 13th, 2026. This engaging online course explores Italy through one of its most powerful cultural expressions: food. Students will examine topics such as the Mediterranean diet, regional cuisines, espresso, gelato, migration, sustainability, Slow Food, and ethical consumption, while discovering how food shapes identity, tradition, and community. With no prerequisites, a fully online asynchronous format, and no textbook cost, ITAL 120 is a flexible and enriching way to earn GE credit over the summer. It will not be offered in Fall 2026, so this summer session is a unique chance to take the course. by @sdsu_calssc
