The dance highlights the skill and experience in the dancing we know, cherish, and often recognize as BEAUTY. During March 23rd-28th, SDSU Dance Department will be having guest artists Niall Jones and Jesse Zarrit.

OPEN COMMUNITY CLASS will be on Monday from 5-7pm in ENS 200!
On Friday, there will be a free showing at 4pm in ENS 200 of a work in progress created over the course of the week, along with a post-performance discussion.

If you attend the classes, know that there will be a videographer, Zach King, taking videos and photos. Release form link in bio.

All dance majors and minors interested in performing should check their emails to fill out the interest form, and should check Canvas announcements to see the options for classes. by @sdsudanceprogram

We are all Undone. What happens when we’re willing to be seen that way?

Undone is a collection of performances that are ready to be seen while they’re still becoming.

Undone exists so that performers can see how being seen shapes their work. Undone’s second-hand outfits show its love for the earth. Undone’s pieces are created through collaboration, collision, and collusion. Undone is an ingredient in vulnerability, one of the ultimate performance enhancers. Undone reminds students, alumni, and faculty that they’re all still learning—together.

SDSU Dance Program (re)Orientation rocked. Welcome (Back)!!!

We asked our dance majors, “Why Dance?”

In small groups, each person responded to that question while the others in the group “captured” a few words that resonated with them. The word cloud at the end of this video is the result. The largest words were the most frequently used.
