Today, we proudly launch the Nathaniel Thomas Jr. Legacy Scholarship, created to honor the life and legacy of a remarkable young man whose impact on Prairie View A&M University and everyone around him will never be forgotten. Nathaniel Thomas Jr. was more than a student; he was a beloved son, scholar, servant leader, brother, and friend. As a sophomore at Prairie View A&M University, he exemplified academic excellence, compassion, integrity, and a heart for uplifting others. Though his time with us was far too short, his legacy continues to inspire us to invest in the next generation of leaders. This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to an incoming freshman or sophomore male at Prairie View A&M University who demonstrates academic achievement, leadership, and a commitment to making a positive impact on campus and in the community. We believe that legacies are not measured by the years we live, but by the lives we touch. Through this scholarship, Nathaniel’s name, purpose, and passion for serving others will continue to change lives for years to come. Applications open July 5, 2026, and close July 26, 2026, at 11:59 PM. *The application link is in our bio.* “For Nate’s Sake, we will continue to lead, inspire, and create opportunities for others to succeed.” 💙 by @sdwjay
