NYC🇹🇹
Absurdity will always prevail

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Cowboy Hat of Shame: Growing up during the rise of BBL Bandits & Rubi Rose.
A discovery (slightly self deprecating) piece I had the pleasure of developing during my time with @labyrinththeater IE this summer.

Now if you would be so kind and willing pls swipe as we recount some great moments

I asked “What were you like in middle school?” A combo of Ooofs seemed to be the consensus.
I retorted: “I was never an “ugly” Middle Schooler, I never had an awkward phase, But there was one thing I always lacked… a PHAT ass.”

Moments before betrayal: “#2016 #nycpublicschool We were a duo and it was like a whole thing, she’s Latina, I’m a curly headed Lightskin. We had something awesome. sacred. But when we got back from break…I noticed something. Everyone else started to notice it too.”

Here’s to being not thiccc at the ripe age of 11.

Cowboy Hat of Shame will return.

One of my proudest moments was nerding out and reading my dissertation of Ulysses: “So you won’t f*** her cause she’s dyslexic?”

Bisexual Worm with a BF vs. He/Him Lesbian. Together they face…GENTRIFICATION.

The amount of trust I had in this tube top, was the same amount I had for these lovely humans.

Thank you @labyrinththeater for helping me find how to share my stories in ways I forgot about⭐️🩷 by @sealsonsaturn

This one is for Fort Greene & all my First-Gen Babies🗽
I remember telling my mom that I didn’t want to go to college. She told me to get my scrawny lightskin ass in my room and write my college essay. So I sat there in front of that blinking cursor trying to explain something I barely understood myself: I needed to stay in my city.

“Normal is a setting on a [washer] dryer” (@taylormacnyc) still don’t know how to use that, but I know how I’m entering the world🍾🌍 #classof2026 @newschoolperformingarts
