Yesterday Pastor Monday preached a WORD. Literally every word that came from her mouth was the Holy Spirit giving me the words I needed to hear.

It is always darkest before the dawn. WHEW. That one sentence smacked me straight in my face. It’s been dark. The enemy KNOWS when Jesus is using someone. The enemy knows when someone is getting closer to Him. Have you ever noticed when you start getting a little closer to God and then life starts kinda getting harder? That seems odd right? Isn’t life supposed to be getting easier now ?? wronggg-O.

We must be present where we are. There is purpose in our position. In every season of life there is a lesson. A lesson in something that will be needed later on in life. There is purpose for where we are. The bad things? Yeah there is purpose in those too.
•

We ALL go through the valleys. Some have a harder walk than others. Some have different obstacles they’re climbing to get to the top of the mountain. The only difference is who you are walking with. We may not be walking the same walk or climbing the same mountain, but our God is the same and He stands firm and walks alongside each of us—in our own journeys.
•

Embrace the lessons. The heartbreak. The struggle. The pain. The smiles. The joy. The growth. I honestly never thought I’d be where I am today. A true testimony of God walking beside me through all of my valleys. Leaving a 3.5 year relationship/engagement, moving back from Florida, being jobless, not learning my lesson and having to learn it AGAIN. This is just a glimpse into a small amount of valleys my God has walked beside me through in just ONE of my years on this earth.

Pregnancy after loss can often steal so many beautiful joyful moments during your pregnancy journey. To be completely transparent— I feel like I lived in delulu as I would say lol. I made sure I knew the important things to be prepared and to know what was happening in my body, but I didn’t read the books or listen to the podcasts because I knew it wouldn’t be good for my brain while he was growing.

Pregnancy after loss feels like constantly waiting for the other shoe to drop. It can be not announcing until later on or not at all. Not buying baby clothes too soon or not picking out a name until closer to their due date. It can look like anxiety leading up to appointments and ultrasounds.

Pregnancy is hard. Pregnancy loss is hard. It’s all hard, in its own way. Every journey is different and so beautiful. Know you’re not alone + you’re doing amazing mama. ❤️‍🩹✨

Happy Monday yall, let’s chat real quick— I know we all suffered the early 2000’s diet culture basically telling us to photosynthesize for nutrients so we could be as small as possible.

My entire life I’ve been chasing a smaller number— on the scale and in clothes and all I did was make myself smaller. I lost my confidence and myself striving to be someone I wasn’t meant to be. A number DOES NOT define who you are as a person. Being 200lbs literally means nothing LOL
