Such an honor to host this year’s Bay Area Rider First awards and an even bigger honor to be awarded 🥹❤️

I LOVE the Rider First awards because it’s a chance to celebrate all the hard work happening to make our region a more affordable, convenient, and equitable place to move and live in. This year I got to celebrate so many of my friends including @carterlavin and @itssindigo for their work on the regional funding measure and onboard harassment prevention, plus @baypassatsjsu for making transit FREE for 40,000 students at SJSU. Plus, I was presented my award by one of our region’s most talented and passionate advocates, BART Board Vice Chair @edwardwrightsf!

The future of Bay Area transit is bright. Proud to have played a tiny part and even more excited to pass the torch 🌁🚎

Ballots are arriving to folks which means now is the time to get out and talk to voters about voting YES on Measure RTM to save Bay Area Transit!

Voters in Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara counties have the chance to vote yes on Measure RTM which if passed will prevent terrible transit cuts to BART, Caltrain and bus services.

If the Regional Transit Measure doesn’t pass, that doesn’t just mean having less or extremely limited, BART, Caltrain, or bus services in the Bay. It also means that because of more traffic, our public safety vehicles, such as ambulances, will take more time to respond to emergencies.

Vote yes on Measure RTM to help keep our communities healthy and safe! Make sure to vote by November 3rd.
