I used to not like going out dancing all that much (I’ve gotta stop being so self-conscious!) but I really want to go dancing after being couped up for so long. Let’s all have a dance party later when that’s okay. Or karaoke (I love karaoke). Or both! Let’s do both. More Scooby-Doo fanfictions coming soon! #animation #motiondesign #motiongraphics #mograph #2020 by @sean_maymon

Losing some of what’s most important in your life as the world is falling apart is super difficult. I’m glad there are artists like @bjennymontero out there who share their work and make us feel less alone. This animation is a little snippet from one of his comics. Swipe to see the real thing! If you like it you might like his other work too. It always makes me feel better when I’m feeling down. Have a good weekend! P.S. The song is “Less Young But As Dumb” by Dougie Poole #motiondesign #animation #motiongraphics #mograph #adobe by @sean_maymon
In “Scooby Doo and the Cyber Chase” (2001) the Mystery Gang meet an alternate-reality version of the Gang that exist in a 70’s era Scooby Doo themed video game. The Alternate Gang (AG) are aware that they’re trapped in an endless loop and if they win the game they’ll just return to the first level, only to repeat the events of the game again. At the end of the movie (post-villain unmasking and everything) the AG chooses to stay in the final level of the game, which is an actual 70’s era Scooby Doo episode, because it feels like their “true” reality (that they’ve never actually experienced). The reality they choose keeps them from ever realizing what is beyond their predetermined identities (as they’re programmed in the game) and from ever developing any true sense of self of their own. And then the movie acts like that’s a happy ending. I’m not so sure Hanna-Barbera. Super crazy stuff. I’ve been working on this silly ol’ reel since February of 2018 with no reel release date in mind (see what I did there?). I would just keep editing it and unnecessarily changing it ad nauseam. But now, we live in different times and
I am become furloughed. So here it is! I’m working on some fun website updates too. I’d say I hope you’re doing well and I hope you enjoy it, but I know nobody is doing well right now and it’s hard to enjoy anything so
wishing you the best? The tune is one of my favorite songs, “Because I’m Me” by The Avalanches. You should check out the original music video. It’s one of the best things I’ve ever seen. P.S. Please hire me :) #motiondesign #animation #motiongraphics #adobeillustrator #aftereffects #mograph #mgcollective #mdcommunity #aeguru #motionlovers #adobe #2danimation #puns by @sean_maymon
