Oski use to bark at the front door whenever he heard a noise outside. He wouldn't stop barking until someone opened the door and let him see what was going on.
I sat down one Saturday morning with a breakfast burrito and a coffee when someone slammed their car door. So Oski starts barking at the front door and I walk over to show him it's no big deal. The door opens, he takes two steps outside and turns around and bolts for my burrito on the coffee table. I spent the next 20 minutes cleaning up eggs and steak from my couch since he shredded it as he was running away from me.
Sunday morning, I decided to get a breakfast burrito again because we live in San Diego... within 2 seconds of me sitting down, Oski start barking at the door. I get up, move my burrito to another location and start walking to the front door. Before I even get there, he turns around and sprints for the coffee table - sniffing for the missing burrito.

The house feels emptier since he crossed the rainbow bridge. Whether he found a wide open beach, or a snow covered mountain, I'm sure there's an unsupervised buffet around the corner. by @seanalang

Ran my 2nd open marathon and PR'd by 48 minutes! But now I'm debating if I need to run another since 2:59:59 sounds so much better than 3:00:52.

Although I posed this to the guy sitting on the shuttle: if I run 2:59 for the full 26.2 but my race result is over 3 hours because you always run a bit further than 26.2, do I get to claim sub 3?

Lastly, I got to see a high school xc teammate who obliterated his goal of 3 hours (as if @brando1013
could run that slow...)

First full family vacation in the books! The whole family accompanied me to a "race" that I thought was going to be cancelled. So 6 weeks of training with a long ride of 5 hours led to precisely dying 5 hours into the @belgianwaffleride and limping my way into the finish for 4 more hours. Imagine that. This was also the first time I got to experience racing with a team which was awesome. Actually having some #gravelcollectiveproject friends out on course made it easy to talk to fellow riders and provided a community I normally don't get at my races.

@oskiloveswaffles loved the walks in both Cedar Breaks and Bryce Canyon but Waffles 🧇 was less thrilled with the amount of driving we did.

Since I had to work during the trip, @sharleenygirl set up her own "office". taken in Cedar City, Utah by @seanalang

Fun was had today. I may have gotten lost on some trails I've never ridden before and one of them was definitely too gnarly for the gravel bike. All gravel rides for the next mont will be ending with a climb up black mountain in preparation for #bwrcedarcity.
