Core strength meets hip stability! 💪 Your adductors, abductors, and core work together to stabilize the pelvis and resist rotation with every rep. Train stability, control, and strength—all in one move. by @seanasa100

I have such vivid memories of William setting up toy army action figures, guns, and barricades all over the house, starting as young as 4 years old. His grandfather fostered his love for the armed forces from those early years and continued to do so throughout the years, until Papa passed away in 2021.

When Will was a junior in high school, Bill and I were talking with him about college. His response? “No. It’s the Marines for me.” We tried to steer him in the direction we thought was best, but then came the phone call with a USMC recruiter… and we knew right then it was time to support him in his decision.

Since enlisting, William has worked SO insanely hard to be the absolute best he can possibly be at every course and training he’s taken on in the Marine Corps.

His promotion ceremony took place this Wednesday, right after he finished hell week in the Advanced Water Survival Course. And of course, he PASSED!!! It was NOT easy, either.

Since this March, he’s been stationed in DC as a White House Sentry, guarding President Trump. It’s been a tremendous experience for him!

When you have that one person from your family of origin who always has your back, you know you’re blessed. I’ll always thank God for my sister Erin. She’s got a heart of gold 💛that is genuine and true. Even when she’s a pain in the ass to me, or me to her…we know we are one another’s ride or die. I love you Sis 🤍 by @seanasa100

Training Danielle has been amazing. When we first started working together, lower-body exercises were often leaving her with back pain after her training sessions.

She’s no stranger to lifting. Danielle placed Top 10 in the 2017 WBFF Bikini Division. Since then, she’s become a mom, works full-time as a CFO, and co-owns Revival Fitness with Dave. Needless to say, she has a lot on her plate!

My goal was to help her learn how to move effectively and pain-free so she could reach the goals she has for her body. Slowing things down, dialing in her technique, and really getting her to feel the movement has been a huge part of her success.

The first few weeks of program design felt a lot like a dance, as her body was responding pretty quickly to the breathing drills and exercises in her program. The focus was training her to move in her center of gravity. At times this felt unnatural and maybe even awkward. But the more she repeated movements, the more naturally it started to flow. This week she deadlifted 185# and squatted 145# with no pain during or after her lifts.

Danielle, you’re proof that hard work pays off. by @seanasa100

Just sharing a few moments of my training session with my client @kris_tech on this hot Friday morning. Kristen is not hard to train. She hears the instruction and executes.

I love training at Revival Fitness. I not only have amazing clients who are consistent and work extremely hard, but I’m surrounded by other professionals who know how to collaborate and build one another up so we can be the best team in Rhode Island. We are truly in the business of making stronger humans. 💪🏼

3 Tips to Get the Most Out of the Pendulum Squat

The pendulum squat is one of my favorite machines for building strong legs. It keeps your spine supported while placing constant tension on your quads throughout the entire movement.

1. Foot Placement Matters
Where you place your feet changes which muscles work the hardest. A lower foot position places more emphasis on your quads, while a higher position shifts more of the work to your glutes and hamstrings. If you deal with knee pain, try placing your feet a little higher on the platform.

2. Keep Your Back Supported
Stand securely with your back flat against the pad before unhooking the safety. Lower yourself into a deep squat with control. If you feel your lower back taking over, you may be squatting deeper than your mobility allows. Stay within a range where you can keep good form.

3. Own Every Rep
Don’t bounce out of the bottom or let your heels lift. Both are signs that you’ve lost control of the movement. Lower yourself with a slow 2-3 second count, then drive back up with the same control.

As you squat, keep your weight centered over your midfoot. Stay connected through three points of contact: the base of your big toe, the base of your little toe, and your heel. Maintaining these three points from top to bottom creates a stronger, more stable squat pattern. by @seanasa100

Good morning. Thinking of what to make for a high protein breakfast?? Try this fast and easy recipe. by @seanasa100

Stop cutting your rows short. 👇

If you want to get more out of every rep, don’t just pull the weight—control the way you lower it too.

As you return the weight, let your shoulder blade slide smoothly across your rib cage instead of keeping it pinned back. This controlled stretch places the working muscles under tension for longer, helping recruit more muscle fibers and making each rep more effective.

But there’s another benefit…

Allowing your shoulder blade to move away from your spine helps improve shoulder mobility. Your scapula is designed to glide over your rib cage, and practicing that movement while your muscles lengthen helps keep your shoulders moving the way they were meant to.

Don’t rush the eccentric (lowering the arm). Own it. That’s where a lot of the magic happens. 💪 by @seanasa100
