Happy 21st Anniversary to my bride and best friend! The years have flown by! Trisha the Lord has blessed us with a beautiful life! Not always easy, challenges to overcome, and there have been many prayers to pray- but we’ve been by each others side and enjoyed the adventure together. We were babies when we got married- but so thankful for that special day July 30, 2005! Love you! by @seancates

We often scroll from funny, to tragic, to serious, back to funny, to an argument, to an agreement. I have to believe in many ways our scrolling has left us desensitized and sometimes unable to allow things that matter to sink in.

I wrote this verse tonight as my heart was truly breaking thinking of the difficult days our nation is in. When I turned the camera on and started the track I could feel tears coming on and didn’t know if I could get through the verse. At the end of the verse I began to cry as I kept seeing the faces of so many hurting people especially young people in our nation- from every background. I couldn’t hold it back. I have broken down before doing a song. And just refilmed it or edited it - to not be too vulnerable. Tonight I felt like God told me just to leave it, and that someone else might relate. I really just love people and pray others can feel that love also, His love. When we cry, he cries. He understands when no one else does.
