Some of you know me. Some of you don’t. Either way.... this one’s for the record. 🖤
Let me reintroduce myself.... Miami-born. 36 years behind the decks.
It started at 13. Two tape recorders, hip hop, Miami bass, Electro, making mix tapes from the radio, skating rinks, you get it.

Then came the clubs, the turntables, and a sound that completely rewired me.

The first time I witnessed @djsashaofficial & @djjohndigweed in the early 90’s, their first days on US soil, I was just a kid in the crowd, my mind blown. No idea what was coming.

What came was a journey I couldn’t have scripted. Years of crossing paths turned into something deeper. Monthly Twilo NYC blinders… living in London working festivals, Sharing stages. Opening sets. Late nights that turned into real conversations. The kind of friendships that don’t live on a résumé.....they live in the moments between the music.

Finding ourselves at the same table at mutual friends’ weddings abroad. Realizing the scene had quietly made us family.

That’s the thing about this world: if you stay true to it long enough, it gives back in ways you never expected.

This Saturday, I’m back after a long hiatus, and can’t be more grateful...to John and Sasha and all those who have supported me for so many years. Opening the night at Resistance Miami ahead of Sasha & John Digweed’s 4-hour set at @m2_miami @resistance along with @rodriguezjrmusic . taken in M2 Miami by @seandrake

IBIZA 1999 - Not making it to my favorite island this year to see friends and fam. Coincidently I came across some long lost photos of my first trip back in 1999 just last week when moving around some things in storage. @dalenenetto was my tour guide when I stayed at the We Love Sundays at Space villa. I Don’t photograph or post people often. However, Dave Beer has been a dear friend for well over 25 years. I got to spend a few weeks in Leeds with him 2 summers ago along with my dog nephew Presley. I also had the opportunity to play at his legendary night Back 2 Basics.
