Consider this a reminder. It’s been three years since we introduced ourselves to the world with Kawhi Leonard at NBA All-Star. That first spot wasn’t about appealing to some nameless casual, or conforming to someone else’s idea of what basketball should be. It was our promise. We’d never be like them. These days, everyone keeps saying the same thing. Be different… Over the past year, we put eight months of work into one insight. Today’s game doesn’t need another marketing campaign selling the exact same thing all over again. And they won’t get it from us. Covid restrictions. Supply chain issues. Road trips to middle America. This campaign was a marathon, but just as relevant now as it was last April. (One difference: Dejounte is now an All-Star.)
