I didn’t cry today but I still remember you sitting in the audience at my high school graduation, and today I had the honor of standing here watching you graduate. Time truly flies.The sky is only the beginning for you. There is so much in store for your life, and I pray that God continues to open doors no one can shut, grants you favor, wisdom, and courage, and orders every step you take.By law, you’re an adult now, but to me, you’ll always be my baby niece. Watching you grow into the incredible young woman you are today has been one of life’s greatest blessings. I’m so grateful that I get to witness this milestone, and I can’t wait to celebrate all the amazing accomplishments that are still ahead of you. 35 was a blessed year, and I step into 36 thankful for every moment God allowed me to live.Last year changed my life in the best way. I married my beautiful wife, and marriage has stretched me, grounded me, and made me better. Thank you for loving me the way you do and walking with me in purpose.I graduated with my master’s in Special Education from Hunter College, one of the top CUNY schools in New York, something I never imagined for myself. God truly blew my mind and reminded me that His plans are always bigger than mine.I also traveled to places I once only dreamed of, Mykonos and Santorini in Greece, Venice and Ancona in Italy, and Montenegro, and saw firsthand just how faithful God really is.As I step into 36, I do it with expectation. Thankful for where God has brought me from and trusting Him with what’s ahead. 2026: The Year of the Open DoorLast year prepared me for this one.I graduated with my Master’s in Education, married the love of my life, and traveled to my dream destination, Mykonos, Greece 🇬🇷.2025 was the year of marriage and my master’s (M&M), and it wasn’t just about me, my circle was blessed too:- New homes- Dream jobs- A life-saving kidney- A new NYC council memberGod did it then, and He’s not done yet.This year, we walk through every door He opens.Greater.
