Friends of Willow, my baby has been in critical condition at the vet since 5am Wednesday morning. Her prognosis was very poor but over the last two days she seems to be improving. Unfortunately we've spent about €700 so far and will likely need another €200-300

We came home late on Weds to find Willow sleeping on the stairs, which isnt her usual spot. I picked her up and brought her upstairs but she immediately started yowling and lost control of her bowels before she collapsed again onto the ground, unable to stand or keep her eyes open. We have a wonderful vet who has an emergency number so we rushed her over. The vet found her belly entirely full of blood and her temperature at hypothermic levels. She has been in an ICU warming chamber and given IV fluids for the last 2 days. She has managed to get better, however, today she was already up and her eyes were brighter. The vet thinks she may have fallen from a tall height, or been kicked.

Willow was the runt of the litter - she wasnt given long to live when I got her, but she pulled through beautifully. Shes very small for a cat (about 5kg) and is deaf, she also cant jump very high. She's a lovely little cat who just likes to purr, sleep and hang out on someone's shoulder.

I dont usually like to fundraise for things but we have had to use half of our rent money to cover the costs and any little bit helps. Thank you all

TWO BIG ANNOUNCEMENTS THIS WEEK!

#1: Raiders Comedy Ireland is proud to announce "Drop Dead Laughing" our new monthly show in the amazing venue @dropdead_twice

Events Page: @dropdead_laughing

This will be a monthly ticketed & paid show featuring 3 comics.
2 support acts doing 10-15 minutes
1 headline act doing 30 minutes.
All 3 acts will be paid!!!

Acts will be chosen from the best of Raiders from our weekly show as well as special invites. Anyone who fills in the Raiders monthly form saying "Yes" to the Showcase will be considered. 🙂
The idea behind this show is to give a chance for comics who are starting to push out of the "Open-Mic" and "WIP" stage of their career to push into the paid show territory.

Our first show is Thursday July 30th and any & all comics will be welcome to attend with free entry of course!!!!

At the murder mystery I had to play 2 characters. One (Captain Denny) had a hat and the other (Wickham) not to tell the difference.

Caught on camera here is the moment Wickham learned Denny had betrayed him!
