I do miss the sunrises coming over the mountains as I drive into Elizabethton. Since Aubrey and I are in different schools systems, I’m on Fall Break and she isn’t. Today she and her senior class are taking the ACT. She asked me to drive her to school. Of course I said yes! (She took the picture) by @seangolden44

Growing up in Florida whenever there was a shuttle launch or something like that we would always go outside to watch it. On my drive to school this morning I noticed what looked like a couple of rockets being launched. I took a picture of it (yes I did pull off the side of the road) and sent it to Kristie Beasley Golden. She found that it was indeed a SpaceX launch. Brought back some memories! by @seangolden44

For the last 18 years I have had to drive on an interstate and busy highways to the schools k teach at. My favorite drive so far was into Elizabethton on 321 especially during the sunrise. I saw some of the most beautiful sunrises coming up over the mountains. My dive this year is just a couple highways and a back country, curvy road. I timed it right this morning to catch the sun’s light coming up in the valley. Still an awesome reminder of God’s work in creating our world. by @seangolden44

Today I am celebrating 13 years being Colon Cancer free. It has been a long road since then with the complications and medical challenges I have endured. I am beyond blessed to still be here and enjoying life with Kristie Beasley Golden and Aubrey. They have been at my side the entire time taking care of any needs I have. God is amazing and has blessed us all! by @seangolden44

I am excited to be teaching at Sullivan East Middle School this year. I am Co-teaching 8th Grade Math, 8th Grade English, and an 8th Grade Resource class. Today was the first day of school. I enjoyed getting to know the other teachers and my students. I am looking forward to this opportunity and a great year! by @seangolden44

Happy Mothers Day to this AMAZING Mother, Kristie Beasley Golden! She keeps the family running though all the good and the bad. When I have had one of my many surgeries or when I went through chemo therapy, she never left my side. If I ever asked for anything or to stay the night in my hospital room on the uncomfortable couch/chair. She’s supportive with all the things Aubs and I have going on. Like when I’m agree to help coach Aubrey’s volleyball team or help get the girls’ flag football team up and running. More sacrificing as I pursued my graduate coursework and am currently writing my dissertation (2 more chapters to go). She not only sacrifices for us, she helps anyone she can. She also plans these amazing trips we have taken. Somehow she has time to work full time at Sams Club, take care of us, and keep Golden Travel Group moving by herself as I am doing the other things. You are an AMAZING mom and wife. Happy Mother’s Day. We love you MORE! by @seangolden44

Growing up we always celebrated our birthdays. Last Friday would have been my Dad’s 77th birthday and today would have been my mom’s 71st birthday. Happy birthday to you both. I miss you guys! by @seangolden44
