The King Tides we’re going off this weekend in La Jolla! 🌊🌊🌴
A few times a year they bring extremely low tides and also these crazy High tides hitting the windows of The Marine Room restaurant. It would be insane to be dining inside while this is going on.

I went to get a look with my drone and this surfer paddled over to get some close up views 🤙🏄‍♂️

These photos are from @malibutri… which is still hands down my favorite race, even with the daunting ocean swim. Mostly because the tiny little lifeguard towers. (Plus the💰raised for charity and celebrities)

It’s been a tough season results-wise, which is frustrating considering I have committed more to training this year than ever before.

But I know it’s a long process, and I am building a base fitness for the future. That being said, hopefully I have one good race in me this season.
