Day shoot with the dream team

Really stoked on the way the color and look turned out on this. I keep pushing to grade as best I can every project. One thing I’ve come to learn is the importance of focusing more on the tone mapping and contrast of the image to bring out color rather than trying to push the saturation itself.

The conditions and lighting play such a pivotal role to what you can do with the grade later, and we couldn’t have had a better day to exemplify that! by @seanmcdannold

Frames and vignettes from our most recent production for the latest @heatwavevisual MXG-250 release.

It’s not everyday that you get huge rain clouds in the desert, let alone when the goggles you need to capture are covered in lightning bolts. Safe to say this is probably our favorite looking shoot this year. Okay maybe ever.
