Some of us are struggling with shame — privately. Not out loud. Quietly, while you’re still showing up and doing what needs to be done. But shame shouldn’t be something we carry alone. We all go through something privately, and what you feel doesn’t get to define you. Emotions can change. You can change. That’s part of my healing: learning to name what I’m feeling instead of hiding it. If you’re carrying something right now, you’re not alone in this. What’s something you’re ready to let go of? 📍 Gas Works Park, Seattle — 2101 N Northlake Way, Seattle, WA 98103 Free to enter, open 6 AM – 10 PM daily. From I-5, take the 45th St. exit, go west on NE 45th St., left on Meridian Ave. N, then right on N Northlake Way. Dragon era. 🐉✨ Not a costume. A statement. Every scale, every detail, every bit of this look is about owning who I am — fully, boldly, without shrinking myself to fit anybody else’s idea of me. I spent a long time learning to stand in my own power. This is what that looks like. If you’ve ever had to remind yourself who you are, this one’s for you. Walk in like you belong — because you do. What version of yourself are you finally ready to own? #SeanyaSays #DragonEra #OwnEveryVersion #StoriesThatInspire #BuiltNotBorrowed by @seanyasays
Transformation isn’t just a word. It’s growth. I stood at Multnomah Falls and let go of the version of me that was afraid to start things — and afraid to finish them. There was a time I told myself I wasn’t capable of doing anything. Now, I feel stronger than ever, and I know I am capable of anything I set my mind to. Healing taught me that. Letting go is not giving up — it’s making room to become the person you are today. What are you still holding on to that it’s time to let go of? Tell me in the comments. Your story might be the one someone else needs to hear. 📍 Multnomah Falls — 50000 Historic Columbia River Hwy, Bridal Veil, OR 97010 A 620-foot, two-tiered waterfall in the Columbia River Gorge — one of Oregon’s most visited natural wonders. How to get there: From Portland, take I-84 east for about 30 miles and take Exit 31 — it’s a left exit — then follow the signs to the falls. You can also reach it along the Historic Columbia River Highway scenic route. #SeanyaSays #RealCheckIn #HealingInProgress #LetGoAndGrow #BuiltNotBorrowed by @seanyasays
Seattle, what’s going on? 🐉 This is my first time getting my makeup done — and this experience was super amazing. I’m definitely feeling my dragon era. And yeah, get into the wings. ✨ Shoutout to the team at Dzul Ink Lounge in Seattle for bringing this dragon to life, scale by scale, for Halloween night. From the airbrush to the final look, they understood the vision. Would you rock a dragon look for Halloween? Tell me in the comments. #SeanyaSays #DragonEra #HalloweenInSeattle #SeattleNights #BuiltNotBorrowed Business to credit — Dzul Ink Lounge: • Address: 2104 3rd Ave, Seattle, WA 98121 — Belltown • Website: dzul.com • Phone: (206) 767-1163 • Email: info@dzul.com by @seanyasays
Seanya Says — A conversation worth your attention, with Brie, your Houston home girl. As a life coach, I believe where you live shapes how you live. A home is not just an address — it is stability, peace of mind, and a foundation for everything you are building. Brie does that work every day in Houston. As a real estate agent and apartment locator, she helps people buy, sell, and lease, and she specializes in helping people find a place to move into within 30 to 60 days. She brings clarity to a process that can feel overwhelming, and she does it with the kind of hustle and care that earns trust. If you are looking for a place to call home in Houston, or you know someone who is, I encourage you to watch this conversation and reach out to her. Seanya Says — Watch this conversation with A.L. Bailey. This is a creator who has put in the work. Through faith, consistency, and showing up for her craft, she has built a platform and a brand that people trust — Faith, Fun, and Fashion — and now she is on The Midway Tour with Yoshihanaa. Her story is a reminder to keep going, keep building, and keep believing in what you are called to do. If you need encouragement to stay consistent with your own work, this interview is for you. Support a Black creator who has earned her place. Watch, share, and follow her journey. Seanya Says — A conversation worth your attention, with my brother-in-law, Jaylon. We have known each other for 12 years. That kind of time teaches you a lot about a person — about loyalty, about perspective, and about what it means to keep going after life changes you. In this interview, Jaylon shares the scariest thing that ever happened to him around Halloween. He had dressed as a zombie, and shortly after, he was in a wreck that left a permanent mark on his face. What stayed with me was not the accident itself, but his posture after it: grateful. Grateful to have made it through. Grateful to still be here. As a life coach, this is the work I care about — helping people hold gratitude and perspective even after the moments that could have broken them. If you have ever had to rebuild after something you did not see coming, I encourage you to watch this conversation and take something from it for your own life. Watch, reflect, and share it with someone who needs this reminder today. Follow me: #SeanyaSays #RealCheckIn #gratefulandgrowing #storiesthatinspire #twelveyears by @seanyasays

This isn’t just a cut — it’s community. Just today, Wes went to Memorial Hermann to cut a man who just had spine surgery. That’s the kind of barber he is: still touching lives, one chair at a time. Seanya Says caught up with London Lawrence, and when I asked what villain best represents his personality, he didn’t hesitate: Cruella de Vil. Scheming, amazing sense of style, and she knew exactly what she wanted. 😂 But this is bigger than a Halloween answer. “Papa is a problem” — and he’s behind ALL the seasoning. 🔥🍗 Meet Treveon Stovall, the chef at Play Nightlife. In his own words: “Whenever you try any of the food — from the pizza, the wings, and the catfish — you’re tasting it from my hands. That is me behind all the seasoning.” His three words for Play? Culture. Family. Vibes. “Everyone is very welcoming” — and when he started, they welcomed him with open arms. That’s the energy in this kitchen. 🍽️ COME EAT AT PLAY: • Pizza, wings & fried catfish — seasoned by Treveon himself • 99¢ Wing Wednesday + karaoke, NO COVER • Kitchen open late, happy hour ‘til 10 PM, patio out back • A place where everyone is welcome 🌈 So Houston — pizza, wings, or catfish: which one are you ordering first? 👇 📍 Play Nightlife, 2409 Grant St Ste D, Houston, TX 77006 👨🏾‍🍳 Chef Treveon: @papa.problem_234 https://www.instagram.com/papa.problem_234 🎉 Venue: @playnightlife1 https://www.instagram.com/playnightlife1 #seanyasays #houstonfoodies #playnightlife #houstonnightlife #blackchef by @seanyasays
$500. One party. What you doing with it? 👀 I asked S. Naomi (@_s.naomi) at Play Nightlife and she didn’t hesitate — she’d throw a party for the community’s creatives. The rappers, the singers, all the talent right here in our own backyard that just needs a stage. 🎤✨ Not for herself. For everybody. That’s real. Now I gotta ask y’all the same thing: somebody hands YOU $500 to throw a party for your community — what’s the theme, and who’s performing? Drop it in the comments 👇🏾 and tag a Houston creative who deserves that stage. 🎥 Seanya Says x @_s.naomi at @playnightlife1 📍 Play Nightlife (Play Montrose) — 2409 Grant St, Ste D, Montrose.
