We’ve been posting for months… and somehow skipped the “Hi, we’re SeatForAll.” part.

So here it is.

We’re building a navigation app that helps people understand places before they arrive, with the accessibility details that traditional guides usually miss.

Whether you’ve been following since day one or just found us today, welcome.

Was able to donate a few AAC devices to a local autism-centered org today. It’s what it’s all about, actually.

It’s AAC Awareness Month, and our Resource Bridge has made another contribution to a local organization in honor of it.

For those who don’t know, AAC stands for augmentative and alternative communication. AAC devices give people another way to express their thoughts, needs, and feelings when spoken language isn’t enough or isn’t how they communicate.

Because of @ablenetinc we were able to donate 3 AAC devices to @autismbranchesinc. They support children on the autism spectrum and their families throughout South Fulton and the surrounding areas. Through inclusive programs, sensory-friendly events, and community resources, they’re creating more opportunities for children to learn, connect, and feel included.

That’s Resource Bridge doing what it was made to do: helping good resources find the people who can use them.

Want to donate supplies, learn more about Resource Bridge, or explore a partnership? Reach out to us. We’d love to hear from you! Square SeatForAll graphic on a dark teal background with bold, centered text reading “AAC AWARENESS MONTH.” “AAC” and “MONTH” are white, while “AWARENESS” is bright turquoise. The SeatForAll logo appears underneath, with a white and turquoise accessibility symbol, the SeatForAll wordmark, and the tagline “Navigate with Confidence.” by @seatforall.app

ICYMI, SeatForAll is a company that provides varying support and services for people with disabilities, including detailed accessibility-based guides, in-person and virtual assistance, and donations to individuals, families, and organizations.

We are teaming up with @diversitybeans, a company that is all about “challenging bias, one bean at a time.” Their jellybeans are literally designed to challenge assumptions about what you see on the outside and what you find on the inside.

And now, the important part:
50% of the proceeds will go toward our Atlanta Resource Drive, which will support the city’s disabled community.

The other 50% supports workers with disabilities... during National Disability Employment Awareness Month!! Cool beans, huh (sorry, I had to pun)?

So please repost, share this out, send it to your people, and get this moving! Link to the fundraiser will be in our bio ❤️🩵 Promotional graphic for a SeatForAll and Diversity Beans fundraiser during National Disability Employment Awareness Month. This is Resource Bridge in action!

Thank you to @funandfunction for donating a gift card that helped make this possible, and to @guidinghandsenrichment for helping us identify what their community needed.

With Fun & Function’s gift, we were able to send a Magnetic Puzzle Fidget to Guiding Hands for their classrooms.

Community works best when we make sure no one is left without the support they need.

Introducing our first few Resource Bridge Donors!

Sometimes the right resource already exists. It just needs to get to the right place. Resource Bridge is a SeatForAll program that helps move donated disability, accessibility, sensory, hygiene, comfort, assistive, and everyday-use resources to people, schools, and organizations that can use them.

We want to recognize four companies that have helped us begin building Resource Bridge:

@ablenetinc
AbleNet donated AAC devices that can provide people with another way to communicate and express themselves.

@eazyhold
EaZyHold donated adaptive grip aids that help people with limited hand function hold everyday items, including utensils, writing tools, toothbrushes, toys, and more.

@funandfunction
Fun & Function donated a $50 gift card. Instead of choosing an item ourselves, we asked Guiding Hands Enrichment Center what would actually be useful to them. Their team selected a Magnetic Puzzle Fidget to support sensory and fine-motor needs in their classroom, and we purchased it and had it sent directly to them.

@projectufirst
U First donated Bombas socks, which will be part of our November Resource Drive. These socks will help provide something simple but important: comfort, warmth, and a clean pair of socks for someone who needs them.

This is what Resource Bridge is about.

Someone has a resource.
Someone else needs it.
We help build the bridge between them.

We’re grateful to these four donors for helping us get started. And we’re just getting started! Graphic with a dark teal SeatForAll background. White text at the top reads “Resource Bridge Donors.” Four white rounded boxes in a two-by-two layout display the logos for AbleNet, EaZyHold, fun & function, and U FIRST. SeatForAll had the honor of speaking at @iafultonschools today.

Sole Purpose: The Good Trouble Project is a student-led civic engagement initiative inspired by the legacy of Congressman John Lewis. Through the project, students are learning that making a difference does not always start with having all the answers. Sometimes, it starts with caring enough to do something.

We were invited to share how SeatForAll is putting that same spirit into action by working to make communities more accessible and inclusive for people with disabilities.

And what an incredible group of students!

It quickly became clear that these are self-starters with curiosity, compassion, and the kind of drive that gives you hope for the future. Their willingness to ask questions, think deeply, and find ways to make a difference is exactly what Good Trouble is about.

We are so grateful to Ms. Meggin Rosner, the students of the Good Trouble Project, and the entire Innovation Academy faculty and staff for welcoming SeatForAll into your community.

John Lewis reminded us that we should never be afraid to make some good trouble. Today was a beautiful reminder that the next generation is already finding their own ways to do it! Introducing Resource Bridge.

Sometimes the right resource already exists. It just needs to get to the right place.

Resource Bridge is a new SeatForAll program that helps move donated disability, accessibility, sensory, hygiene, comfort, assistive, and everyday-use resources to people, schools, and organizations that can use them now.

Our first placement is with Guiding Hands Enrichment Center in Riverdale, Georgia. Guiding Hands serves children ages 5–10 with autism and developmental differences through structured enrichment, academic instruction, daily living skills, sensory activities, social and communication support, transition readiness, and access to on-site therapy.

After SeatForAll received a $50 gift card from @funandfunction, we asked Guiding Hands what would actually be helpful instead of choosing for them.

Their team selected a Magnetic Puzzle Fidget to support sensory and fine-motor needs in the classroom, and we purchased it and had it sent directly to them.

Some Resource Bridge donations will move right away. Others will be saved for larger SeatForAll community distributions.

The goal is simple: useful things should get to people who can use them.

Labor Day is a chance to honor the people whose labor helped build this country and the generations who fought for safer, fairer working lives.

It should also remind us that a job, a paycheck, or a certain level of output should never become the test for whether someone is respected, included, or taken seriously. People with disabilities should not have to outperform, overextend themselves, or constantly demonstrate what they can contribute just to be seen as full human beings.

There is room in society for people who work full-time, part-time, differently, intermittently, or not at all.

That should never change how much dignity they are given. Dark teal SeatForAll graphic with the SeatForAll logo. Large text reads: “Happy Labor Day. Work matters. People matter more.” by @seatforall.app

We have a new official SeatForAll partner.

Beginning today, Disability Resource Advisors is serving as SeatForAll’s User Experience Partner.

Disability Resource Advisors is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering people with disabilities to live fulfilling lives. Through education, outreach, professional development, and advocacy, we work to create greater access, opportunity, and inclusion.

Over the next several weeks, DRA will coordinate accessibility-focused user testing with people who use screen readers, voice recognition software, and other nonvisual and voice-based assistive technologies.

They’re helping us answer an important question: How does SeatForAll actually work when someone experiences it differently than we do?

The feedback and recommendations from this project will help us identify barriers, improve navigation and information clarity, and build a better experience based on lived experience, not assumptions.

We’re excited to get to work! Disability Resource Advisors logo featuring three colorful abstract human figures in teal, purple, and orange arranged in a circle, surrounded by the words “Disability Resource Advisors.” by @seatforall.app

Extremely grateful to @iamericawright and the @projectufirst team for helping us stock our holiday kits with a generous supply of brand-new socks!

U First is an Atlanta-based nonprofit that provides essential hygiene items and supplies to people experiencing homelessness and children in need. Special thanks to @bombas, whose support of U First helped make this contribution possible.

Through our CareForAll program, SeatForAll provides practical support and companionship for people with disabilities and older adults.

As we prepare Thanksgiving and Christmas care kits, we’re also working to distribute resources through disability organizations, senior programs, supportive housing, re-entry programs, and organizations serving homebound or isolated adults.

Every contribution helps us put something useful and thoughtful directly into someone’s hands, and we’re incredibly grateful. We’re getting this started, Atlanta.

If you’re a person with a disability and there’s something around the house, an errand, some yardwork, basic tech help, or another everyday task you could use an extra set of hands with, please reach out. No charge.

And if you don’t need the help yourself, share this. Somebody in your circle might.

We’re starting small and doing what we can, where we can. If this reaches the right people, that’s the whole point! by @seatforall.app
