POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I realized I haven’t introduced myself at all on here. There are starting to be some new faces, so I figured I should!

HI! I’m Seattle. I’m a 28 year old pediatric nurse turned SAHM. My husband and I have been together for 12 years and we have one little boy. I’ve always loved reading and gaming. I typically gravitate towards horror and thrillers, but I also enjoy a good fantasy or dark romance. I’m always open to recommendations 🩵 by @seattlesreadingnook

Hi, friends! I wanted to share how I choose what rating to give the books I read.
I do tend to be a little stingy with my 5 star ratings, but that doesn’t mean that it’s not a ✨GREAT✨ book! I typically save the 5 stars for books that have me gripped the whole time, make me love the characters, and have a great ending. (Even if that means my heart is ripped out at the end)
❗️Just remember❗️ These ratings are completely subjective. They are just my personal feelings on the books. Others may have different opinions! We welcome that here. by @seattlesreadingnook

Hello, friends! I realized I haven’t done a ✨meet the bookstagrammer✨ post in like a year and a half, so I figured I should!

If you’re new here, I’m Seattle! I’m a 30 year old pediatric nurse turned SAHM. My husband and I have been together for 14 years, and we have one little boy and a fluffy pup. I have always loved to read and play video games, but I’m newly into cross stitching! My favorite genres are horror, thriller, dark romance, and fantasy. I’m always open to book recommendations though ❤️

Thank you for being in my little corner of bookstagram!

Yesterday, my bestie officially opened her little free library! My son and I were very excited to stop by and leave/pick up some goodies. She put so much time and effort into creating this, and it definitely shows. Look how gorgeous it is 😍

I finished The Starving Saints, so I can FINALLY start Threshing Day. I’ve been fighting for my life to avoid spoilers. I’m so excited to see more of the dragons and their sass.

Did you get a dragon on Threshing Day?

I’m about 75% of the way through Starving Saints. I’m not gonna lie… I ✨struggled✨ through the first half of this book. I thought about DNFing a few times, but how much I have been looking forward to this book made me push through. I’m glad I did because it finally started picking up and grabbing my interest around the 55% mark. Here’s to hoping it just keeps getting better🥂

I am so happy that I’m about 30% into book 3 and still LOVING it. I am trying to take my time through the books since the series isn’t done yet, but it’s so hard.
