This was the Album Release Show to »Am Ufer der Welt« ~ supported by the ever so great Orange Gone @orangegone & Maerlia @maerlia.x , two amazing artists that hopefully get to shine their musicality into the world like they did into the room that night. Thank you for having been part of this and bringing your music, your time and presence to create an evening that felt whole 🤍

Thank you Ajlisha @gratisspinat for performing this album together with me and bringing your time and unique energy into rehearsals and onto the stage. I loved seeing you engulfed in moss and weeds and fog and misty lights. What a delight 🤍

Thank you Sarah @rotfuechsin for capturing moments of the show in video, it was a very lovely completed feeling to have you with us that night 🤍

Thank you dear Luna @schnitzelpunk for these amazing photos, which I am glad you captured through your eye and lens 🤍

Thank you to the people who helped in the shadows ~ Berni @br3ni____ who did the light, Julian @julianbambi who helped with decorating the stage and @lucia.vienna for having been the best place to do this in. We‘ve loved the backstage nook and the dramatic entrance it allows. 🤍

Thank you @seayourecords for walking those milestones with me and coming to see the album unfold 🤍

And most importantly, thank you to the friends and friends of friends and new souls that came to celebrate this release with us. A show is nothing without an audience and you were a great one 🤍

With all my love,
T ~ Jeanne D‘Arte by @seayourecords

“April” is the first single from @sophieehallberg 's upcoming debut album. She played “April” for me in May; in June, we shot the music video in Athens; we edited it in July; and now, in September, the song and video have just been released by @seayourecords —somehow it always stays April anyway!

When I first heard the song, I immediately thought of the ending of a (French?) movie in which everything we’ve seen up to that point is suddenly called into question. For the female lead, a whole new story suddenly unfolds at this ending. A new movie could begin...

Thanks to Sophie for her trust and the beautiful song, and for embodying this female lead; to Einar Stenseng & Stelina Akouli for their help; and, of course, to the nighttime magic of Athens.

----
