This week on Ambitchiously Intelligent 🎙️ we sit down with Sebastijan Geč @sebasgec — actor, director, writer, performer — for a conversation that moves through fear, devotion, and what it truly means to commit to the work.

Sebastijan speaks about fear as the fear of being yourself. About authenticity not as an image, but as something earned through discomfort and responsibility. About the body as the most honest tool we have — and why believability in performance begins there.

We talk about independent filmmaking as chaos and devotion at once. About doing everything yourself when you have to. About trusting the process when collaborators fall away. About making mistakes as the only real way to grow — and why he refuses to let AI replace that human friction.

This conversation moves between dance and cinema, vulnerability and discipline, exhaustion and joy. About crying on your own script. About creating something that costs you something — and holding it in your hands knowing you gave it everything.

Swipe through for 5 Ambitchiously Intelligent Lessons from the episode, and step into the full conversation now 🎧

In this week’s episode of Ambitchiously Intelligent 🎙️ we sit down with Sebastijan Geč @sebasgec — actor, director, writer, performer — for a conversation on commitment.

Living at 100%. Refusing to regret anything. Moving from opera rehearsals straight into composing psycho-thriller music, working past exhaustion and choosing it anyway — because what you’re building matters.

We explore presence in performance. The split between head and body. Why some actors don’t land on screen. Why connection cannot be manufactured.
And the real fear beneath it all: not failure, but being yourself.

Authenticity — not the curated, likable version. The earned one.

❤️‍🔥 New Episode Drop ❤️‍🔥

This week on Ambitchiously Intelligent 🎙️ we sit down with Sebastijan Geč @sebasgec — actor, director, writer, performer, and the restless creative force behind the performance–film hybrid And They Never Looked Back.

We talk about fear — not as a buzzword, but as the quiet force shaping our time. The fear of being seen. The fear of being authentic. The fear of not being liked.

Sebastijan speaks about the body as the most honest instrument we have. About why dance came before cinema. About presence on screen — and why you can always tell when an actor is “in the head” instead of in the body.

We go deep into independent filmmaking: two years of development, six intense days of shooting, self-funding, set-building, breaking wood to make it fit into a van, editing until exhaustion. What it really costs to make something personal.

We also talk about vulnerability. Crying while writing your own script. Translating pain into language. And why he refuses to use AI in his creative process — choosing mistakes over perfection, humanity over polish.

🎬 Premiering February 17th on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.

after a month or two of rehearsals, finally tonight we are premiering Wagner’s “Tanhäuser” at the Wiener Staatsoper.

I’ve been in the opera for more than a year but THIS production totally raised the bar on every possible level - the music, the set design, the costumes, the level of action, the wild atmosphere and above all - the people!

Some are friends that I made along the way, many were first-timers or just parallel divas with whom I never got to work before. All turned out to be amazing people. The kind I hope will stick around cause they make me happy without even trying 🥰

Let’s do this 🤩 taken in Vienna, Austria by @sebasgec
