I'm going to keep this short and sweet (Lie) because I'm already sad.
I spent the last 3 months with a group of the single most talented individuals I could ever have the pleasure of working with. Every rehearsal, run through, and performance were an absolute joy and if you asked me to do it again I wouldn't hesitate ❤️

@midastheatrical are an absolute dream company, and even if I never get to work with them again, I can guarantee I will be at every show. They are proving that theatre created by individuals outside of a professional space isn't amateur.

@tatkjoy You are a master at your craft and you brought together a phenomenal group. I hope we brought your vision to life, and that you continue making incredible theatre 🙏

@mgharcourt Thank you for taking a chance on me and always encouraging me to push myself and throw myself into the craziest situations, your friendship is a treasure.

And to all of my fellow performers. Watching you work and push yourselves to your limits and beyond has been one of the best experiences of my life. You make me want to improve myself and work harder just by spending time with you! Thank you for letting me be a part of your beautiful madness, and I hope I get to work with you all again soon ❤️ by @sebastianwrightson

Well. That's close of show for Legally Blonde 💖 Getting to play Emmett was not something I had expected at all, and the role came out of nowhere for me. I hadn't seen or heard the musical before my friend @sarxhvictorix_ told me that I should audition. I immediately fell in love with it, and it became such a monumental part of my life. The last 6 months I have been travelling back and forth on late night trains to a place where my heart has never felt more full, and I would do it all over again if given the chance x
To my CMP family - @makenziethorpe @_siennaedenn @rebecca.youle @rebecca_penn to name a few. You ignited a fire in me again that I had never expected to find, and I will always hold you so dear to me.
@mgharcourt @liblibharcourt @markywebby You gave me the role of a lifetime, and I truly hope that I was able to live up to that for you all ❤️ I can't wait to work with you all again.

Finally, and this is the hard one, to my El. @_eleanorhk_ You were simply the best. From the moment we first sang together to the last bow, you were my rock. Taking time before every show to pull each other up, and make sure we were both at our best gave me the confidence to go out there everynight and I have said it before, but you made it so easy to fall in love with you on that stage everynight 🥰 You should be on the biggest stage, with people cheering your name ❤️ Always your Emmett - Seb x by @sebastianwrightson

Vanilla:

We were sitting on a train heading West. Sinking in the silence, when you turn to me and said "I'm scared that love will find me when I'm old." I said "I'm scared it won't find me at all."

You paint some memories in the dust, while strangers fall in love next to us. You ask me how it feels, like a secret I'll reveal, but the truth is it's so simple after all.

It's spending winter days drinking summer wine, and the smell of vanilla that floods your mind, it's an old song but you know every line, but love is just a moment that drifts on by.
Now you're waiting on the platform next to mine. I'm staring into nothing, while you try to catch my eye. You yell above the noise, I can barely hear your voice saying "I think I know now how you feel".

It is still insane to me that I had the opportunity to play 'Köln' just a stones throw away from where it was written.

This structure of this song, and the first verse are very much a love letter to my brother George, who inspired me growing up with music by Jack Johnson, Newton Faulkner & Xavier Rudd to name a few. He lives in Cologne and has helped me so much with my music journey.

I had such an amazing time Colögne this weekend!! Getting to play the Horrem christmas market was an absolute highlight of my time there ❤️

This is the first time I'd ever performed 'Everything Matters In Loving You' fully so I am glad it went well 😂 by @sebastianwrightson

I am so incredibly proud of all the hard work that this cast has done so far!! (Unfortunately I don't have a full cast photo yet because there about 720000 of us). It has been an absolute pleasure and I know that it will continue to be!

So I haven't posted about it much purely because I am incredibly busy, but next week I'll be in Cologne performing my music at a christmas market!
I can't believe I get to perform 'Köln' about a stones throw away from where I wrote it 😅

I've been working on a new cover of 'Punch Drunk Love' by @aleksiah_ (She actually told me the chords for the song 🫠🫠🫠) But it's hard when your voice is a touch shot. Hopefully I'll have it out soon 😁 by @sebastianwrightson
