POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Woofstock is all about giving back to animals in need and that’s why we of course again welcome local rescue organisations that are working so extremely hard to make sure no animal has to suffer.

From finding them furever homes, temporary foster homes, setting up feeding stations, ongoing TNR campaigns and spreading awareness, we as a community owe them a huge thank you.

And you can help as well!
How? Just by coming to Woofstock!
Because like every year, the proceeds of the dog tickets will be donated to the participating rescue organisations.

And they will be there at the event as well in our special rescue organisations area.
Are you looking for a furever friend, want to open your home to a foster dog or help in other ways?
Visit the rescue organisations area to meet the team behind @second_wags , @houseofhounds_uae , @rakawc and @sahara_kennel_rescue or visit the @almayyak9.uae stand.

Our tickets pre-sale is going live very soon!
Want to be the first to know when tickets are for sale? Then sign-up via our website (link in the bio).

The UAE’s favourite dog-friendly festival returns on the 1st November 2026, bringing together dogs, their humans, rescue organisations, pet brands, entertainment, activities, workshops, delicious food & drink, and plenty of furry fun.

🐾 Over 24 dogs. One heartbreaking hoarding case. A chance for a new beginning. 🇦🇪💔

Behind every pair of eyes was a life that deserved love, safety, and care. Our rescue mission brought over 24 dogs out of a hoarding situation in the UAE, giving them a chance to leave the suffering behind and begin their journey towards healing. 🐶❤️‍🩹

Their rescue is just the beginning. They now need time, patience, care, and the kindness they should have always known.

Every dog deserves more than survival. They deserve a life filled with love. 🏡🐾

Thank you to the incredible teams at @almayyak9.uae @sahara_kennel_rescue & @second_wags for coming together to help these dogs.

Please share their story. You could help change a life. ❤️

6 of these dogs have now safely arrived in the UK ready to look for their forever homes.

🐾 MEET ESCALADE 🐾

Breed: Corgi Mix
Gender: Male (Yet to be neutered)
Age: Approximately 7 months old

Social Behaviour: Good with other dogs, kids and should be ok with cats

Health: Healthy, Vaccinated 🤍

Status: Forever Home Needed

Escalade may be just seven months old, but this little boy has already shown us just how brave he can be.

He came into our care as an owner surrender and, shortly after, was diagnosed with Parvo. For a young puppy, it was a lot to go through, but Escalade fought his way through treatment and thankfully came out the other side 🥹🤍

Today, he is healthy, happy and ready to leave that difficult chapter behind.

What Escalade needs now is everything a puppy should have had from the beginning: a family to grow up with, a safe home to call his own, plenty of playtime, patience, training, cuddles and all the little adventures that make puppyhood so special.

He has already shown us that he is a brave little fighter. Now we want to see him simply be a puppy. His Parvo journey is behind him. His forever journey is still waiting to begin.

Could you be the family who gives Escalade the happy ending he deserves? 🤍

To apply to adopt Escalade, please PM us or email secondwags@gmail.com.

🐾 MEET NOBU 🐾

Breed: Pomeranian
Gender: Male (Yet to be neutered)
Age: Approximately 4 years

Social Behaviour: Gets along with dogs. Should be fine with cats following a proper introduction. No young children.

Health: Vaccinated, Healthy. Bilateral luxating patella, due for dental scaling.

Status: Forever Home Needed 🤍

Nobu was found wandering the streets of Sharjah as a stray. We don’t know how he ended up there, but thankfully, life looks very different for him now.

He is currently in a foster home where he is settling in and thoroughly enjoying all the attention from his foster mom 🤍
He loves being included in activities and getting out and about!
Nobu gets along with other dogs and should be fine with cats following a gentle introduction. A calmer home without young children would suit him best.

He also has bilateral luxating patella, meaning both kneecaps can slip out of their normal position. We are keeping an eye on this and ensuring his needs are appropriately managed. He is also due for a dental scaling when neutered.

For now, Nobu is enjoying discovering the comforts of home life. What we’d really like is for him to never have to give them up again.
From the streets of Sharjah to being someone’s much loved little companion. That’s the next chapter that we’re hoping to help you write for him 🐾🤍

To apply, please PM us or email secondwags@gmail.com.

🐾 MEET THEO 🐾

Breed: Yorkshire Terrier
Gender: Male (Neutered)
Age: 8 years old

Social Behaviour: Good with calm dogs and cats. No young kids, should be ok with older children.

Health: Vaccinated. Bilateral luxating patella, no surgical intervention needed but needs to lose weight.

Status: Forever Home Needed 🤍

Theo has had to start over twice, through absolutely no fault of his own.

His original family left the country without him. Thankfully, another family stepped in and gave him a home, but sadly, they were unable to care for him long term. Once again, Theo found himself having to adjust to losing the people and home he knew.

Despite everything he has been through, Theo is a sweet boy who enjoys affection and gentle handling. He is happiest when life is calm and predictable, and he would love a peaceful home where he can feel safe, settled and simply enjoy being someone’s companion.

Theo needs to lose more weight to avoid putting pressure on his knees. But Theo is so much more than his medical needs 🤍

At eight years old, he deserves to finally know what it feels like to have a family who chooses him and stays. He doesn’t need a busy home or endless excitement. He just needs patience, gentle affection, a calm environment and someone who will give him the security he has been missing.

Theo has already had to say goodbye to two homes. Now, he deserves one that will be forever.

Could you be Theo’s forever family? Please PM us or email secondwags@gmail.com.

🐾 MEET ESPRESSO 🐾

Breed: Labrador x Spaniel
Gender: Female (yet to be spayed)
Age: 1 year old

Social Behaviour: Great with dogs. Should be fine with cats following a proper introduction. Older, calmer children would be best while she builds her confidence.

Health: Vaccinated and microchipped. Yet to be spayed.
Status: Forever Home Needed 🤍

Espresso spent the first year of her life living outdoors on a farm with another dog, largely ignored and neglected and spending much of her time confined to a cage. Thankfully, someone recognised that she deserved better and convinced her owner to surrender her.

Despite her start in life, Espresso likes people and wants affection. She can be a little unsure initially and needs time to build her confidence, but once she realises you’re safe, she really leans into the love. 🤍

She is wonderful with other dogs and would benefit from a patient family who will give her the time and reassurance she needs while she discovers what being a loved family dog is all about.

At only one year old, Espresso has her whole life ahead of her. She’s done with existing on the sidelines. Now it’s time for her to live.

To apply, please PM us or email secondwags@gmail.com.

Pupdate: Echo

Sometimes, the dogs who are easiest to love are the ones who quietly settle into your life and become part of it without you even realising how much you’ve come to rely on them.

That’s Echo 🐾

This sweet 4-year-old Maltese/Terrier mix has been showing us more and more of her lovely personality, and she really is the kind of dog who simply wants to be close to her people. She is affectionate, gentle and very people-oriented. Give her a little attention and she is perfectly happy just being by your side.

Echo is also house trained and enjoys the comforts of home. She isn’t looking for a complicated life. She just wants somewhere peaceful, someone to love, and the reassurance that she is finally staying for good 🥹

After everything Echo has already experienced, we would love for her next chapter to be a permanent one. She has already had to leave a family she loved when they moved countries, through absolutely no fault of her own. She shouldn’t have to start over again.

What Echo needs now is simple: a family who will make room for her, include her in their everyday life and love her for all the years to come 🤍

If you think Echo could be the quiet little piece your home has been missing, please PM us or email secondwags@gmail.com to apply to adopt her.

Name: Kiko
Breed: Pomeranian Mix
Gender: Female (Spayed)
Age: Approx 3 years old

Social Behaviour: Good with dogs, cats and children

Health status: Healthy, Vaccinated and Jaw subluxation.

Status: Forever Home Needed

Kiko was found as a stray in 45°C summer heat, dehydrated, hungry, her fur dirty and badly matted and her little body showing clear signs of neglect.

Since coming into our care, she has absolutely thrived. Kiko is a happy, confident little dog who loves company. She’s potty trained, leash trained and has discovered the joy of playing with toys and brings her foster family endless joy.

At some point in her past, Kiko suffered an injury to her jaw resulting in a subluxation. Thankfully, she is not in pain. After assessments with two orthopaedic specialists and a canine physiotherapist, everyone agrees that she simply needs to keep using and strengthening her jaw.

In other words, Kiko has doctor’s orders are to chew! 😂
Bully sticks, rabbit ears and Kong toys, thankfully, rather than your favourite shoes.

After everything she’s been through, Kiko is healthy, happy and absolutely ready for the final piece of the puzzle: her forever family.

Could that be you? 🤍🐾

To apply, please PM us or email secondwags@gmail.com.

Name: Taco
Breed: Terrier Mix
Gender: Male (yet to be neutered)
Age: 4 months old

Social Behaviour: Social butterfly 🦋

Health Status: Finishing treatment for Giardia

Status: Forever Home Needed

Taco was surrendered to us by a breeder as an unwanted litter along with his siblings. All four tested positive for Giardia, so before anything else, our priority was getting them healthy.

And there is a whole lot of life waiting for them.

Trixie, Tilly, Tony and Taco are sweet, curious little social butterflies who are ready to start discovering everything the world has to offer. Walks and adventures, toys scattered across the floor, trips in the car, meeting new friends, cuddles on the sofa and, inevitably, a little puppy mischief along the way.

They may have started life as an unwanted litter, but we intend to make sure that each of them grows up knowing what it feels like to be completely and wholeheartedly wanted 🤍

As with all puppies, they will need ongoing training, socialisation and patience as they grow. They are still learning and developing and will thrive with families willing to invest the time and consistency needed to help them become confident, well-balanced adult dogs.

Puppies are a long-term commitment. They are active, require plenty of supervision initially and need families prepared for everything that comes with raising a puppy, not just the adorable part.

Four puppies. Four fresh starts. Four forever families needed🐾

To apply to adopt handsome Taco please PM us or email secondwags@gmail.com.
