A sunny spot, a cozy nap, and someone to love, that's all Reese is asking for! 🐾❤️ At around 7 years old, Reese is a sweet, gentle boy who's ready for a fresh start after a difficult past. Rescued from severe neglect, he's slowly getting his beautiful chocolate-colored coat back and learning what it feels like to be safe and loved. Reese enjoys snuggles, gentle pets, toys, and soaking up the sunshine! He's quiet, easygoing, and happiest with a simple routine. His hearing and vision are limited, so he'll need a little extra patience in new environments. He's making progress with house training, does well in his crate, and gets along with other dogs (especially smaller ones), cats, and older children. Reese would thrive in a calm, loving home with someone around often and plenty of cozy spots to relax. Apply to meet Reese at https://sccrescue.org/dog-details/?method=AdoptableDetails&animalID=61841450 Note: SCCR is located in Palatine, IL, and adopts our dogs to people w/in a 90-mile radius (Chicagoland, NW IN and S WI). taken in Palatine, Illinois by @secondcityk9

A little patience, a lot of love, and plenty of squishy toys — that's Nyla's kind of happiness! At 4 years old, Nyla is a sweet Poodle mix with a big personality! She may be cautious around new people due to her past, but once she feels safe, her goofy, playful, and energetic side comes shining through. Nyla loves walks, exploring, couch snuggles, and especially her beloved squishy toys! She's still working on potty training and would thrive with a patient family willing to help her continue learning. She's generally indifferent toward other dogs but prefers those closer to her size. Nyla is looking for someone who understands that trust takes time and is ready to give her the love and security she deserves. ❤️ 🐶 Apply to meet Nyla at https://sccrescue.org/dog-details/?method=AdoptableDetails&animalID=61442625 Note: SCCR is located in Palatine, IL, and adopts our dogs to people w/in a 90-mile radius (Chicagoland, NW IN and S WI). taken in Palatine, Illinois by @secondcityk9

Playtime, new friends, and cozy naps? Winston is all in! At approximately 10 months old, Winston is a sweet, easygoing pup with wonderful manners for his age! He's fully house trained, sleeps through the night in his crate, and walks beautifully on a leash. Winston loves meeting new people, playing with other dogs, and getting all the pets he can! He's already mastered "sit" and "down," and his love for treats makes training a breeze. He'd especially love a playful, tolerant canine sibling who enjoys wrestling, tug-of-war, and the occasional stolen toy! After all the fun, Winston is happy to settle down for a cozy nap or some cuddles. Could this social, affectionate boy be your perfect match?Apply to meet Winston at https://sccrescue.org/dog-details/?method=AdoptableDetails&animalID=61385203 Note: SCCR is located in Palatine, IL, and adopts our dogs to people w/in a 90-mile radius (Chicagoland, NW IN and S WI). taken in Palatine, Illinois by @secondcityk9

Small dog, big personality, and a few adorable quirks! 🐾❤️ At around 8 years old, Russell is a curious, confident little guy who loves exploring the yard, following interesting smells, and keeping an eye on everything around him. He's a quiet companion who rarely barks, has done well with children, and shows interest in other dogs. He's also making great progress with house training and will often prance by the door when he needs to go outside! Russell is still adjusting to home life and prefers relaxing in a pen rather than a kennel. And his occasional dramatic little squeal? Just one of the funny quirks that make him special! 🐶 Apply to meet Russell at https://sccrescue.org/dog-details/?method=AdoptableDetails&animalID=61841469 Note: SCCR is located in Palatine, IL, and adopts our dogs to people w/in a 90-mile radius (Chicagoland, NW IN and S WI). taken in Palatine, Illinois by @secondcityk9

Well, butter my biscuits... we've got ourselves a Southern gentleman! 🐾❤️ Bob is an approximately 3-year-old Beagle mix with a nose for adventure, a heart full of love, and a little Southern sass! This sweet boy loves cuddles, being close to his humans, and making friends with other dogs. Like a true Beagle, he takes his sniffing duties seriously, keeps an eye on squirrels, and isn't afraid to share a little hound-dog hollerin'! 😂 Bob is still working on his potty training and indoor marking, so he'll need a patient family willing to help him build good habits. He hasn't met children yet. Looking for a snuggly companion with a BIG personality? Bob might just be your cup of sweet tea! 🐶 Apply to meet Bob at https://sccrescue.org/dog-details/?method=AdoptableDetails&animalID=61824707 Note: SCCR is located in Palatine, IL, and adopts our dogs to people w/in a 90-mile radius (Chicagoland, NW IN and S WI). taken in Palatine, Illinois by @secondcityk9
