Happy 40th Birthday to the one and only. I think my first memory I can remember was waiting for you to come home from the hospital. I was there to let you know I was your brother and we would be best friends forever. I was so pumped. I had no idea what we would go through in life but I did know we were going to do it together. We were blessed beyond imagination. From the Eastside to Newport. A Mom and Dad that loved us unconditionally. To finding out partners for life. Keep crushing foo. The last 3 months have been the craziest months of my life. We went from celebrating my mother in laws birthday to saying good bye on 06/26/2026. The missing piece in my heart seams to get bigger and bigger since my own mom went to heaven. Then when my second bonus momma got sick I just couldn’t imagine a life without her. She stepped up in ways that only a mother could when my mom passed. Now she’s not here and I’m just coming to terms with the idea that I have no moms at all.
Then I realize that I am so blessed to have the women in my life that I do because I see all of my mommas best qualities in my wife, my sister in laws, my cousins, my best girl friends and all the beautiful women in my life that I keep close.
There’s no replacing the missing pieces in my heart that feel so empty. There is only a life ahead that I learn to live without my mommas. I’m going to miss you Kathy. Don’t worry about your baby girl, I got her. Say hi to my Mom and Nonnie. I’m sure Moses was waiting for you at the gates with his tennis ball in his mouth. 🐶🎾

18 years ago when I told my mom I was dating this incredibly beautiful and smart Italian/Puerto Rican girl she said… “Aye mijo, becareful”. I laughed and I said I think she is the one. Little did I know that I had been blessed with the best thing to ever happen to me in my life. Everyday this women makes me better and I can’t wait to grow old together.
